Hi!  I feel for ya!  I am at almost 36 weeks myself and am PRAYING I don't go late as I am sure most mothers do.  But what I wanted to say is that in our Prepared Childbirth Education classes, I asked the teacher if exercise will help to bring on labor.  She said that it's never been proven to do so, (basically that it's an "Ol wives tale"). BUT what has been proven to help is massaging pressure points.  Especially in your ankles!  Haven't you heard not to get your ankles massaged in pregnancy because it might instigate labor??  I have heard that many times.  So I told my husband and my friend (who is a massage therapist) that if it looks like I will be late,  then they better start massaging my ankles!  lol  Anyhow, just thought I would share.  I hope you get to meet your little one soon!

Wishing you well!

Melissa

I just wanted to tell you that I feel your pain I am due on the 25th and am so ready for this baby to come out! And yes it does seem like EVERYONE else is having their babys and it's driving me crazy too! I keep trying to think that everyday that goes by is one day closer to holding my baby, but then again it's one more day of her not coming out!

Hang in there, we will get our babies too! And besides do we have any other choice? LOL! Good Luck!

Kerry,

Things will get better! You too will have your baby soon. The wait is terrible, but the end result is amazing. I went through 19 hours of labor and almost an hour and a half of pushing to get my little girl, so just hang in there. Are you going to be induced or just wait until baby decides to come? I'd go all natural, because it took me forever and the doctor breaking my water to dialate. I hope youre darling comes soon, and just a word to the wise (no one told me this) postpartum is HORRIBLE! It seems the only emotion that works is crying. It gets better but the first couple of days are rough. Just be prepared, and remember to smile every time you see your baby's face.
Best of luck!
Amanda

3 weeks left, congrats! You are most deffinately in the home stretch now! You know how when you have 6-9 weeks left and time moves soo freaking slow? Well these next 3 weeks are going to fly by! Youre mind won't let you think about the time because it always makes you think you have something else to do. Try not to get too tired while moving, and take it easy. I'm glad you got your apartment, and you sound so eager to move in. I hope all goes well for you these next 3 weeks. I am going in on Tuesday to be induced. Congratulations again, and remember...rest while you can.

Hi Kerry,

I just wanted to let you know that I had protein in my urine aswell and they said that depending on the level of urine whether it was pre-eclempsia or not, I was told that alot of pregnant women leak small amounts of protein into their urine and It wasn't always a cause for concern depending on the levels.  My sister-in-law had pre-eclampsia in her 35th week, her blood pressure was sky high, they had her on bedrest in the hospital for a week and then decided to deliver my neice because she was better off out than in, she was born healthy but just a bit little (that is to be expected) other than that she was monitored for a couple of days in the hospital and was allowed to go home, she is now 2 and a half and completely healthy, and she is kind of big for her age.

Anyway good luck, I hope that it isn't pre-eclampsia but if it is just know that things will more than likely be fine.

Narelle
