Baby has arrived!

2007-09-27  (baby has arrived)
8 weeks old

Our beautiful Carter is 8 weeks old!  He is changing into such a different baby now. The medicine is working wonderfully.

It makes me sad that I have to go back to work next week when I feel like I haven't even got to know the "real" carter.  That's Life I guess.

Well Cameron is desperately in need of my attention now, so I will have to update more next week from work when Carter is 9 weeks old.

new pictures
I finally added some new pictures, not of the baptism, but at least they are up to date.

Another dr. appt!

Well I brought Carter back to the doctor yesterday for his pains and tummy.  It had been getting so bad, he was getting no sleep and crying non-stop.

The Dr. prescribed to him another medicine, a stronger one - she said it should take care of his tummy pains, and if not - well then they are just going to consider him being "colic" -- wonderful.

She also recommended that we put 1 tsp of pear juice into each bottle and that will soften things up and hopefully his constipation will go away.

Last time was another tough night - but now today he is doing great...has been sleeping for 4 hours now, that is almost a record.  I'm anxious to see if the medicine is already working - let's (once again) keep our fingers crossed.

7 weeks old

Our little peanut is growing quite quickly.  Carter is already 7 weeks old.  Unfortunately the tummy aches and spitting up is not getting any better.  It was going away but then it would come back - it is in full force now.

Carter has been to the doctor and then even to the chiropractor to try to find a solution to this problem, but none yet.  We go back to the chiropractor tomorrow...let's cross our fingers this helps.  He cries probably close to half of the day - no joking.  He is in such pain and it just breaks my heart to not be able to console him.

Our house is never a quiet house anymore!

He is eating 4 ounces every 3 hours - still...then it takes him at least 30 minutes to burp, and then he cries for at least an hour after that.  So I never sleep for more than 2 hours straight, and more importantly either does Carter

Pray that this problem gets better...I go back to work in a week and a half and I am dredding bringing him to daycare like this.  I know it will drive Chris crazy and she doesn't have the time to give him her attention 100%, like he probably needs.  That breaks my heart!

I will post pictures soon, I have been so horrible about that...sorry!
