Little Carter is 11 weeks old today.  Wow how time flies.  I know I say that often, but geez...

Carter has developed such a cute personality already.  He is such a smiley boy!  He loves to play in his bouncy chair - he bats at the toys and giggles and coos. 

He is still at 11 1/2 pounds and only eating 3 ounces every 4 hours.  That concerns me, but I am sure he will let us know if he is hungry. 

Lastnight Carter slept in his crib for the first time!  He did a great job, only waking up to eat and then right back to sleep.  Mom didn't have to worry about him very much at all.  Thankfully!  Let's hope day 2 goes as smoothly.

He is still such a peanut.  His strength is slowly increasing...but he still has no desire to stand on his legs or try to sit up.  OH well, it will come in due time.

Nothing much new to report.  He is sure a stinker - he cries when he is tired and unlike any other infant I know, has the hardest time falling asleep.  He doesnt' want to miss anything!  Yesterday he went 13 hours with no nap!

So Carter got the flu this week.  His big brother Cam had it for 3 days and then Carter got it the day after that.  I never knew a baby so young could get the flu.

He was vomiting all night long, I wasn't quite sure what to do, but after getting a call from daycare the next day - we brought him to the dr. right away.  We were advised to give him pedialite in place of his bottles if he won't drink them.  If he still won't drink the pedialite then we have to give it to him in a syringe, but it hasn't come to that yet.  he is taking it just fine in the bottle.

He has less of an appetite, and doesn't want to drink his formula as much, but this morning he seems way better and more himself.  He slept a lot yesterday and the day before so he must have needed the rest.

Let's just hope this is the last of the flu bug in our household for the year.  It is not fun taking care of two sick boys - and I was sick too...not good.

Our little Carter is 10 weeks old already.  Man...he is turning into such a sweetheart too.  He barely ever cries anymore and is just so happy.  He coos and gurgles all the time...I think he even giggled for me yesterday.  I couldn't tell for sure but he is all smiles.  I just love him so much!!

Nothing much new to report...he is still not sleeping through the night.  He eats every 3-4 hours 5 ounces.  He kicks his legs and arms so much and makes the funnest sounds and faces.  He loves his bouncy chair...he is getting used to his swing and he really likes to be under his baby gym thing.  Over the weekend he even pet the dogs a few times.

He's starting to wear size 3 month clothes now!  He is still in his newborn size but they are slowly filling out more and more each day.  Size 1 diaper still.  Thankfully...I dont' want him to get too big too fast!  I just want to cherish this time in his life!!!  He's such a cuddler, he loves to lay on my or Erik's chest.

Well no new pictures to update yet...my scanner is down at work, so not sure when I'll get that fixed.

Well today is the big day that I came back to work.  It was tough dropping Carter off for daycare this morning. I am sure he will do just fine - it's me I'm worried about :)

Carter is 9 weeks old now.  He is so alert, coos all of the time.  He kicks and bats at toys now too.  He smiles when you talk to him in a high voice.  He is just such a lover.  What an amazing difference the new medication is making. 

No big news to report other than daycare.  I promise to update more pictures this week!  I did add 2 of the baptism today :)
