Carter's first halloween was very nice!  He got lots of candy :)  He dressed up as a banana, it was adorable!! 

He slept most of the time while we were trick or treating - but was wide awake for trick or treaters at our house later on.

Cameron was a monkey and as quite the proud big brother spent a lot of time trying to hug and kiss the banana :)

Carter has giggled a few more times in the past week - and is constantly smiling!  He must take after his big brother because they are both such smiley babies!  I love it. 

Carter has been sleeping better this week.  Going 5-6 hours between feedings at night and sleeping all night in his crib!  Yae!  We're on the road to sleeping success!

Carter can also hold rattles in his hands and is constantly sucking on his hands.  Gosh he is just such a joy and treat to watch.  I find myself not holding him as much, because I want to watch him move!

We left our little guy overnight for the first time this past weekend!!! Oh it was hard, but I did just fine.  And he did just fine without us!  He stayed at his godparents house Uncle Jeff and Auntie Sandi.  They spoiled him lots and enjoyed their time with the little guy.

Carter is a very touchy little boy.  He cries if he has a wet or dirty diaper and if he is too hot or in his car seat.  He loves people though, he cries if you don't hold him to sleep, he just wants to be cuddled all of the time.  I love it, although it is hard at night when he won't sleep in his crib - but will sleep in your arms the minute you pick him up.

Grandma bought him a new nuk lastnight and it works wonders.  He likes it a lot which is weird because he normally didn't take a nuk.  So thanks Grandma!!!

He is eating 6 ounces now every 3-4 hours still.  But lastnight he went 6 hours between feedings! :) yae, maybe we are getting closer to sleeping through the night - maybe?

My little pumpkin is 12 weeks old today!  He is growing and developing such a fun and distinct personality...I just love it!!  It was so hard for me to picture what type of baby Carter would be - I just assumed he would be just like Cameron, but he isn't.  He is very much the opposite and it is so fun watching it all unfold.

Carter is still eating 5 ounces every 3-4 hours.  He is not sleeping through the night yet - not even close.  He hates to sleep on his back and loves to sleep on his tummy...although I am too scared to let him sleep that way through the night. 

He isn't very fond of his nuk, and loves to be held looking out - towards the world...not in facing you.  He is also very happy and content doing his own thing, he gets crabby if you hold him for too long - unless, of course, he is tired, then he wants to be held the entire time.

Carter is constantly smiling when he is awake!  I love it.  He has gorgeous blue eyes still and his hair is still as thick as when he was born.  His eye lashes are so long - just like his dad's!!!

We miss daddy these days.  He has been gone to South Dakota for the past 3 days and has 2 more full days to go.

It is never fun when you wake up and see your 11 week old baby with his eye swollen shut, matted with green goopy flem. 

I called the dr. right away and got Carter in at 8:30 this morning.  Yes, it was pink eye.  So she prescribed some ointment for him. 

Pink eye is apparently going around daycare, so let's hope that Cameron doesnt' get it and it is the end of this for Carter. 

Poor guy...but he is still such a happy boy :)
