My little peanut is 4 months old already!  Yikes! Time flies and that scares me!

Carter is doing great.  He laughs - oh it is SOOOO cute.  He even snorts! ha!  He is either very happy or very upset.  He is one extreme or another lately.  He gets upset when he is tired ... just can't seem to get comfy or something.

He goes in for his 4 month appointment this week.  He has eczema all over his body.  I hope we can get this taken care of quickly.  I feel so badly that his skin is so dry.  Poor guy.

He is eating 6 ounces every 3-4 hours and sleeping at night and waking up to eat once.  He does pretty good.  We plan to start him on rice cereal pretty soon. 

We put him in a saucer and walker recently.  He can finally sit up pretty well and hold his head up strong.  He loves to be up looking around.  He plays with toys and is always holding something, from bibs to blankies to rattles or my hair!!! ouch!  He has a grip!

Carter celebrated his first Thanksgiving this past weekend.  He sat at the table with the rest of us - but didn't get to enjoy the meal but the company with daddy, mommy and cam was just perfect.

We all have so much to be thankful for this year - Carter's birth and my wonderful family.

Seems as though Mr. Carter is starting to develop a more regular sleep routine.  That is awesome.  He goes to bed every night around 8:30 or 9:00 and wakes up to eat around 2-3:00 a.m.  Then he goes back to sleep until it is time to get up for work.  It works out nicely.  I am not too over tired anymore (knock on wood!)

He is growing like a weed.  We are finally up to size 2 diapers and he has outgrown almost all of his 3 month outfits.  He is fitting nicely into size 6 months already!  Crazy!

He smiles so much.  When he is awake, he is a happy happy boy. But this little guy has already developed a little attitude - when he is TIRED, you don't mess with him.  He cries and fusses and there is nothing you can do to console him, besides hold him tight - shake your arms gently and walk around.  This lasts anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes.  We have tried several things, but nothing really helps - he just eventually falls asleep.  He fights it so badly, he rubs his little eyes and just fusses all around, like he can't get comfy!

He sure is cute though and our little Cam still loves him to pieces!

So we finally got Carter's 3 month pictures taken, they are adorable!!!  He did very well.  45 minutes with no crying! Of course, I forgot them today so I dont' have all of them to scan in, but I do have 2 that I put in my purse :)

He is in 3-6 month clothing already!!  He is very long, kindof skinny but very long.  He is such a happy boy - but we've learned over the weekend that he is already kindof a mama's boy.

Erik always complains that Carter cries when he tries to feed him at night.  I never believed him.  Well yesterday at my niece's birthday party my dad started to feed him and Carter would not eat and just cried instead.  So I picked him up and started to feed him and he stopped crying immediately.  It was cute, I must admit, it made my day.  I will take it while I can.

Still in size 1 diapers though!  He eats 6 ounces every 3-4 hours still.  His sleep schedule seems to be doing well on the weekends.  Over the weekend he slept all night long with the exception of getting up only once to eat per night.  Let's hope he can continue that during the week.  Seems as though when he is at daycare - he sleeps a lot more during the day.

Nothing else much new to report...he is just happy and cute as can be!

Carter is 14 weeks old today.  I hate that he is growing so quickly...I feel like I am missing out on so much!

He can hold his head up pretty good now.  He loves to be on his tummy and he also loves bathtime.  He kicks and swims like a fish!  He loves to be on his tummy in the bath - and he kicks his legs so fast - it is adorable.  I have got to get that on video - soon.

Carter has such a content personality.  He doesnt' mind sharing his mom with Cameron and he is just a tough guy.  Cameron is constantly crawling on him and laying on him and Carter just smiles. 

Over the weekend I put in a baby einstein video and sat on the floor with both boys on my lap - we all watched it.  It was a very comforting feeling...I felt so blessed to hold my two beautiful healthy children - I just squeezed them and kissed their heads. 

Carter's hair is starting to fall out now.  It makes me sad!  I hope it doesn't all fall out - right now just top is thinning out.  He is going to look like an old man!  Not for long though.
