Carter says "mamamama and dadadada" all of the time!  It's so cute to just listen to him babble.  He is a very vocal baby!!

We even learned that he can crawl up and down stairs!  And he can pull himself up on to the furniture and toy boxes, etc.  He pulls himself standing in his crib too - so we lowered the crib mattress all the way down this weekend.

He seems to be excelling so quickly.  I don't want to miss a thing and it is all happening so fast!

He eats all big people food now.  Everything!  and is sleeping nicely through the night.  Thank heavens.

I have added a few pictures from the boat.  Carter does not like his new life jacket.

My mother's day was great.  I woke up to breakfast in bed, my favorite food - french toast!  Not just oridnary french toast, it had whipped cream and strawberries on it as well. It was delicious!

Then the boys and I played the entire morning and hung out at home for the afternoon.  We went to my mom's for dinner and spent some time with her and my brothers.  It was a good day.

My gifts were a huge framed picture of Carter (newborn picture) to hang on my "Miracles Happen" wall, it is the same size and same frame as the one I have of Cameron.  I love it!  Then I also got a huge beach towel and my favorite, circus peanuts.  I loved the entire day.

Carter had his 9 month checkup the other day.  He is 29 inches tall and 17.5 pounds.  He actually lost weight since his 6 month checkup. Crazy!

He had no shots this time but did get his blood drawn, which was worse than the shots, it took longer and he screamed very loud and we had to have 2 people holding him down.  I hate that.

They are testing Carter for Celiac Disease.  He has some symptoms of it and so this is just a test to make sure he does not have it.  I am praying he does not.  It would be a very difficult life-style change for all of us.  We are nervous about the allergy to diary at this point and do not want anything else to be wrong with our little trooper.

I should find out the test results within a week.  I will update more then!

Our little baby is not so little anymore!  Carter is now 9 months old and making milestones every day.

This past week he started eating real adult foods.  NO more baby food.  It feels like we completely skipped that step!  He has eaten chicken, stuffing, carrots, hamburger helper, lasagna, banana bread, kix cereal and various fruits!!  What a big boy.

And now he is even pulling himself up on furniture to a standing position.  He holds on to the furniture while stands and plays.  Gosh he is such a cutie pie.

He even babbles "dada" all the time!!

We have Carter's 9 month well child visit today and I will update more after that.
