Hey Dee,

Sorry to hear that you're sick, that sucks. I know working around alot of people who don't tend to stay home when they should can really catch up to some people. Working in a call center (me) is terrible too but luckily nothing can attack me...lol. I hope that you're feeling better soon.

We had our other ultra-sound and the babies are growing well. They're both the same size at this time which the tech said was good because it means they're growing together rather than one outgrowing the other. The tech still wouldn't tell us the sex of the babies although I'm hoping to find out today or within the next few days. We'll let you know when we find out.

I'd love to talk to you one of these days to see how you're doing. Let me know when you're available for a little call. =)

Take care.

Yuck it is no fun having the flu when pregnant. Also sorry to hear that your bedding isn't what you wanted. Are you going to send it back? I am finally starting to work on the abc quilt that I am making, hopefully it will turn out :S

I gained 32 pounds and I've lost 23 of that at a week post partum.  Most of what you gain is water and baby and other such things.  I measured huge as you could tell and my midwife said everyone gains and grows in their own individual way.  You look great from your pics.

Hey Dee,

We miss you guys. Seems like everything is going quite well for you though. That's so exciting. You look great! Now, I know I'm not the doctor or anything, but that should still count...right? Hahah.

We post more of our belly pics on Facebook if you want to check them out, or you can email me and remind me to send them to you. I'm getting so big right now. As per my last doctors appointment, I've still only gained 12 lbs as well. Keeping on top of that as you are. Eating healthy, keeping fit and trying to stay relaxed.

Our last doc appt this week taught us that both babies are breech right now, so I'm hoping that they'll turn around. They're healthy and a good size though and there aren't any signs of spina bifida or downs syndrome so we're happy about that. The little ones are tearing apart my insides at some points in time though. One kicks me to all the time while the other just bulges out the other side... you should see it. At some points in time it's funny, others it hurts.

We're into our new place now and we still have the same number. I'd love to talk to you and see how you're doing. Give us a call sometime. Once we get the place set up and the babies room sorted out a bit we'll have to send some pictures.

Take care! We miss you and love you guys.

I concur with Kit!! I've heard that 25 is the minimum weight gain, and if you're small to begin with, more like 30 is normal. Lot's of it will be water, baby, placenta and like half of it will come off right after baby is delivered. You are being so diligent with your diet and exercise (much more than I was) and that plus full time nursing will take that weight right off later!! If you're gaining more than you'd expect, it must be what your body needs. Doctors can be insensitive and clueless sometimes, especially male doctors. It's okay to be irrational sometimes too; )

Dearest Dee. I am indignant for you that your medical people are making you feel like you're gaining to much with little comments here or there. You are so tiny in the first place. I can guarantee you that I am significantly bigger than you being a week behind you, and having a much shorter husband than you! Secondly, every woman is different. They take the very smallest pregnant lady and the very biggest pregnant lady and find a medium and tell all women they should all be in the middle. Don't worry, please, Dee. You've only gained 12 lbs, and are more than 1/2 way through the pregnancy. I've read that a healthy weight gain at the end of 40 weeks is between 20-30 lbs. But I've met plenty of women who've gained like 50 instead, but still look hot after. As soon as your baby comes into the world you're going to go back to your old body quickly because it was your lifestyle before. Only you'll have bigger boobs for a while and it will rock :)
