Yay for losing the plug!  That means a lot!  Your body is in prep mode.

You're almost there, Dee!! :) Can we see a picture of you at 38 weeks?

ohh man!! you're so close!! I'm so excited for you to be able to EAT again! You've done so well and been so disciplined. I remember the feeling of just wanting to meet my child so bad and see what he looks like. But then there are times like this morning when he wakes me up way too early and I just feel like shoving him back in there!!
Lola
Happy two weeks until your due date!

I'm glad your doctor likes your birthplan!  Your set!  I would really consider just holding off on the membrane sweep.  I can't even count how many C-Sections I've seen from labors started prematurely.  Not that your guaranteed one but the likelyhood goes way up.  I say that but at the end of my pregnancy with Alberta I would have paid a veteranarian to induce me just to get her out!  :)  I know what it's like to be done!  Just trust me, these last couple of weeks will be over soon.

Hey Deanna, even if you decided to get stripped, you may not go into labor anyways, doesn't work for everyone.  Some people swear by it, others say don't bother, just wait it out.  So I don't know:)  Helpful, I know!!!  But the 13th sounds like a good day to have a baby, let's shoot for the same day;)  I'm good for any day between tommorow and next Wednesday:)  Oh man, it's coming soon!!!!!

A Friendly Reader 6-7-08

Hi, I'm just getting to read your birth plan today, sorry it's after your doctor appointment.

Like yourself, I am a firm believer in letting the baby and God, choose his own day to be born, unless of course, there are problems or complications.

One thing I'd like to suggest:  In the case of a C-section, do not allow them to strap your arms down so that you are unable to move or use your hands.  This happened with me and it was terrible.  I felt panicky and clostrophobic.  After your baby is born, you'll want to touch him and feel his cheeks.

But, you're not going to need a section anyway so don't worry.

We have the power to speak life into our words, so in the name of Jesus, speak positively and it will happen.

Blessings,

~J~
