New pictures are up! I took a bunch of really neat ones, but most turned out a little too um, exposed, for internet posting :(
My belly seemed to have a growth spurt in the past 2 days; wierd. At a conference yesterday a complete stranger asked if I was having twins. What's with the twins questions?? But, other than the increasingly larger ball in front, I'm feeling fit and well. Bronchitis is over, blood sugar stuff remains interesting, and I hope to meet with a nutrionist next week. Eating healthy things, working out, looking forward to spring and a birthable sized baby ;)
Found some cute things at a garage sale today, our stockpile is growing. And I have a shower on April 19th, which is pretty awesome.
We bought a sweet little place this week (that is, if our financing and timing and details and... all work out) and we plan to move in sometime in September (most likely). Lots of reno's to do, especially in the baby room. So, we'll start him in this one and then put most of our decorating energy into the other. Exciting stuff!
I think that's all for now. Have a great weekend!

Third
Hello Third Trimester!
I've entered the third and it feels great! As unexpected as some things have been in this experience, I think I really enjoy being pregnant. There's something amazing about knowing my son is growing within me, feeling him move, coming to know him. I feel closer to him every day and can hardly contain my excitement at really meeting him and seeing who he is and who he becomes. I believe in him so much already and am looking towards him being a man of righteousness, wisdom, kindness, and strength. At this stage there is only potential, there are no limits to who he could be.
Lately in the office I've been tuning in to Mozart stations and setting the speakers on my belly. He's pretty quiet when the music's playing; not sure if he's thinking about it or just trying to ignore it :) Now's the time to start sharing music and stories and such with him. What a smart boy he is! :)
The Gestational Diabetes (GD) has settled into my mind now and I'm processing it much better. It's actually become a pretty sweet game (besides the finger pricking) to play against myself. Whenever I get a 'winning score' I get so excited. It's really interesting and educational to see what foods affect my body, how exercise burns sugar, and what treats I can allow myself at certain times in the day. I think I'm going to learn a ton about nutrition and stuff, which is always good.
We registered for our prenatal classes- YAY! I'm so excited! There are three classes, beginning May1st, and they're supposed to be really fun and helpful. I'm sure Jer will have a blast ;)
That's the update for now. Check out the cute new picture of Jonah.

Sugar baby
Lots to update on, so I figured I'd do a mid-week post.
Had another prenatal today and it was really interesting. Turns out I'm at risk for Gestational Diabets (GD) as my glucose test came back at 8-something when it shouldn't be over 7-something. So, apparently it was high enough for my doctor to be concerned and now I have to do blood sugar testing 3 times a day! I've never been a fan of needles, so pricking my fingers throughout the day is not going to be a good time. But, on the postive side, I'll be able to really moniter where I'm at and if things are alright with diet and stuff or if they need to change.
(At first I thought a high blood sugar result meant I had done poorly with my diet or something, and I kinda freaked out. I had already cut out all refined sugar this month and expected to 'ace the sugar test', so when it came back high it seemed seriously impossible. BUT, I learned that this test shows jsut how your body reacts to a good dose of sugar, hence the fasting before the glucose drink, so that was really helpful to learn. So, maybe I am still doing good with eating and such, but at least I'm aware of the potential dangers.)
My doctor is really great! He spent so much time with us today, told Jer to give me a back massage, and ended with a hug :)
Randoms:
- Measuring at 26 weeks (one week behind) which is exactly where my dr. wants me

- Am quite pleased with my belly, it's really cute.
- Still working with the cold but expect it to be done shortly.

Happy Easter & 4 new pics
Happy Easter weekend! Where I work, Easter means a 4 days weekend; something I am definitly open to :)
Not a whole lot new with me and baby. Jer has modified one of our old dressers into a change table and it's looking pretty sweet (though Jonah has pretty much taken over it as his new sleep zone). I'm still shopping for a carseat and still missing the deals. I'm 57 days from leaving my workplace and becoming more eagar each day.
The flu which I thought I was getting over has returned with vengeance and taken the form of bronchitis. I finally went in yesterday (going on the third week of being sick!) and they got me onto some 'baby safe' antibiotics. I didn't think there was anything out there, but the Dr. said that this one was alright, so that's awesome. This thing has seriously wiped me out. I don't think I've ever being so done with being sick. Looking forward to energy, normal voice, normal sleep, and a weekend I can actually use. I'm really hoping Baby is alright in there. I keep wondering if I'm going to cough out the mucus plug or hurt something in there!! But...he should be fine, right?
Baby is super active and I love it; I feel like we're really getting to know each other and I'm going to start 'sending him' some more info, like music in headphones and such :) We're also looking into prenatal classes this week before the next section fills up.
