12 weeks old
Ry is now 12 weeks old. He is doing awesome! I put him in his excersaucer the other day and he just gives 'er. Every one says that he is so strong and alert for his age. He has a fire in his eyes, you can see he wants to touch everything, but hasnt quite got the hand-eye coordination.
We went to Vancouver for the weekend to visit rys grandpa and grandma and 2 uncles, branden & jorden and his great uncle n aunt and cousin. He got so spoiled. He got like 400$ worth of new clothes from baby gap and old navy and the children's place. He got such cute stuff. He seemed to enjoy the ferry ride, I had him facing out in the snuggli and he was just taking it all in.
Well I have been reluctant to give ry his shots...I was nervous about the side affects, but he is going to get them today. I think the risks of the diseases out weigh the risks of the shots...so at 3 o clock, my lil' sweetie pie is getting a needle. Oh I feel just horrible to have him in pain, but I think of Sam's lil guy and all he went thru...so if Brett can make it thru all that, then Ry can survive his shots.
Anyways, not too much else to write..we spend most of our day cuddling and playing. He is so beautiful and sweet. I just love spending every second with him. It makes me want another one really bad, but then I want to have 1-on-1 time with Ry before we add another to the mix. But we dont want them too far apart. I want to finish my degree so I plan to stay home till the kids are in school, then go back to University. My family, ie my dad, would like me to go back in january already, but I am not going to. It is such a small window of time where I can play with the kids and snuggle them, so I am going to do it as long as I can.
What a spoiled lil baby he is...so much neat clothes and toys.
We also went and visited with rys great grama, my very favourite and special grama...she just adores ryan. She lives only 2 and a half hours froim here, so we drove up for the day. WE went for sushi and played a lot!
I am still just so overwhelmed with how beautiful he is and how much I love him. Kevin is great with him, they snuggle and kev just loves his smi;e, it melts us. Ryan if you ever read this, your daddy thinks you are so smart already. He makes plans for you 2 to go fishing already and he just loves you more than anything.
I better go, ryan and I are cuddling and I need to give him my full attention! What a lucky lil' guy |
