Hello Spaks! I just wanted to tell you again how excited and happy I am for you. Kyla, after reading your latest entry about hearing the heartbeat and getting teary, it made me teary too. Colten is 9 months old and I still have the emotions of a pregnant lady! Thank you for making this blog so we can all keep up with the day to day changes in your lives! My only disappointment is that we don't live closer so we could spend more time together and share this wonderful experience. Remember that I am here ALWAYS for you to ask questions, advice, and any other things that might come up - even if it's just to check that you are normal! (which was always something I wondered about myself!) And Riley, this includes you too - I know you will take great care of my friend and if you ever need anything don't hesitate to call (even if Kyla says you don't have too). OKAY, now that I am teary again, I will call it quits for today. Take care, family of 3!

I see you had your first bout with morning sickness, I can totoally sympathize! Try apples, peppermints and I heard ginger tablets work. For me apples have been the key and smelling peppermint oil. I hope you got my email response I look forward to hearing from you! I have the funny taste in my mouth too. It makes water taste weird. Lifesavers seem to help with the taste and the nausea.

Guess what we did all the way on our 10 hour drive to fairmont at Xmas and back? Baby names all the way! Eddie and i hashing out whether emer ws better than ember-HA, etc. We prob. submitted 30 or so names. Ya think we're a tad excited? What's even more interesting is Kyla and Riley have 5 of those names on their list, so we're very curious, even making wagers. So happy that you're flg good and relatively nausea-free. Interestingly, my nephew and his gal just announced they are expecting for Sept. 17th and she has morning sickness 24/7, poor thing! So as Eddie says, there's going to be babies all around and in one year we will become grandparents and great aunts and uncles. I keep calling Eddie gido and he is not too fond of the name. I am no baba either-Ha! Stay well and enjoy the journey on the wonderful road that lies ahead. All our love,
Patti and Eddie

Congrats you two. I am so excited for you both. Kyla I had morning sickness the entire 9 months with all three boys, so consider yourself lucky. Enjoy every precious moment of being pregnant and of the new life you are going to bring into the world.
Love you guys, Chan
