Buying maternity clothes was:
a bit of a challenge at first, but quite fun once I managed to find a few things. Good news is..the clothes are MUCH cheaper than where I normally like to shop!

The biggest change in my body has been:
My "upper" half. It's been the topic of conversation and ridicule on a few occasions, and Riley smirks and laughs at me all the time! I am learning to laugh at myself a lot more in general!

My favorite change in my body has been:
hmmm.. I suppose the starting of the baby bump itself! The rest of the "auxiliary" weight I could do without, but the bump has been fun so far!

What I never thought would change was:
my inability to put in a good days worth of shopping without paying for it the next day or later than night!

At this month's prenatal visit I learned that:
Your little heart is now beating at 140bpm. You are measuring a little big for your age, but that's ok. We have to go every 2 weeks from now on. There is no sign of gestational diabetes, and the doctor I am seeing is due the same week as me so she wont be delivering Emer! the doc says there is no need for urine tests any more unless there is a problem, and my blood pressure is fine.

My hopes:
That the next few months will go by fast...so we can welcome our little daughter/son. The anticipation is killing me!
|
|
| |
My fears:
That the next few months will go by too fast... I will really miss "Kyla and Riley" time, but know that in time we will look back and won't be able to imagine when it was just the 2 of us. Oh- and I am starting to now fear the actual LABOUR! YIKES!
