Baby has arrived!

Pregnancy Reflections

Fourth Month

What I least expected with this pregnancy was:
All my hostility. Now I know why they call them RAGING hormones!

The best bit of advice I've received is:
Not a whole lot of advice comes my way just yet. The one thing I try to be sure I do, though, is to enjoy each moment while it lasts.

What has changed the most in my life with this pregnancy is:
Besides my belly? Probably my overall career/life perspective.

What made me realize that I was really pregnant was:
Feeling little flutters from Jelly Bean moving around.
Seeing the baby on the ultrasound.
Hearing the heartbeat.

  This month's ultrasound was:
I won't get one this month, as I just had one at my last appointment (11 weeks).

At my prenatal visit this month I discovered that:
If I want to have a triple screen done, I will have to do it within the next week or two. I don't think I will, though. Alex seemed against it, as we wouldn't terminate the pregnancy even if the results were bad. The only reason why I would even do it would be for peace of mind, but even good results aren't sure things.
The doctor said when he had kids, there wasn't even ultrasound. He said "we just had to take what we got and find out the details when we got it."

  My hopes:
Having a healthy baby.
Finding a good child care provider.
Finding a better job after the baby is born.

  My fears:
Being unprepared.
Getting into an accident, falling, or having an encounter that would hurt the baby.
