The first time I felt you kick:
Not sure it was a kick or just movement, but I started to feel little "flutters" around 10 weeks.
The first full kick was on Nov. 20th.
Alex felt a little twitchy thump at around 16-17 weeks when he held his ear to my stomach.

It felt like:
The flutters felt like very light muscle spasm, but on the inside.
The first kick felt like a large marble rolling across the inside of my belly, just below my bellybutton. (It moved the hand I had resting on my belly too!)

I felt:
Happy to be able to feel movement so soon. I get nervous now when I go for long periods of time without feeling anything.

The strangest food craving I've had is:
milk at around 6 weeks. Cold peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches around 16 weeks. Nothing really strange...yet.

This month's prenatal visit taught me that:
Baby is a GIRL! Hooray!
At 19 weeks, 3 days, she weighs a whopping 0.84 lb and measures 14 cm.

My hopes:
Baby is healthy.
Labor is not too difficult.
|
|
| |
My fears:
Late miscarriage.
Stillbirth.
Birth defects.
