I've started thinking about the nursery:
Over a month ago. We finally finished the first weekend in January. The walls are lavender with white trim.
Alex painted the blades of the ceiling fan different pastel colors to match.
We bought a new futon cover that matches the room beautifully.
The bedding and window valances and light switch plate are from the "Gossamer Wings" collection at Babies R' Us. It's VERY cute!
The convertible crib is assembled and ready to go, as is the glider. We still need to move in the changing station from the garage, but we did bring in the drawers and changed out the drawer pulls for butterflies, flowers, and a ladybug.

I've been dreaming about you:
Well, not recently, but daddy has been having "baby dreams." (Funny, huh?)
The other night, he dreamed you were brought in for some sort of "clean up" procedure in the hospital. Except you were a boy. Then he found out in the dream that there had been a mistake and the baby they brought in was not you at all, but someone else's baby.
I joked that it's just like daddy to dream about a place where baby's are customized and detailed! Ha!

I used to love food! Now I avoid:
nothing. No change there!
Actually, I'm avoiding cured meats, cold deli meats, and processed meats. Also anything with raw egg in it.
I miss the occassional corndog!!

I never thought pregnancy would make me:
So round! Yikes! Check out the belly shots!

I can't wait to:
Get away from that jerk manager of mine and start a new job where I can work from home and care for my own child.

My prenatal visit this month taught me:
Everything is on track!
Glucose screening results came back fine.
My appointments are now down to every 2 weeks, instead of every month.

My hopes:
A healthy baby
Getting a new job before the baby's born
Being able to handle a FT at-home job and being a new mom

|

My fears:
Gaining too much weight
Internal exams
Complications in childbirth
Delivery
