More Painting We've been painting some more. We have done the top part of the wall now, and I did the bottom molding today. The chair rail was so much more work than we thought it was going to be. It took us about 5 hours just to get all the peices cut. The problem was getting them to line up and fit into the corners. But we did it. They are all painted and up. And I think it looks pretty good. It's not perfect, but not bad for someone who has never done it before. Make sure you look at the pictures. Next week week give the closet doors another coat, and we'll do the wallpaper. I think that will be another huge project. Everything always seems to be twice as much work as you think it will be. Neither one of us has ever done wallpaper before, so wish us luck. I also need to order another window curtain valance because the one we have is too small, so I'll order one more and put them both up along the top.

Insurance Company Causing Trouble The nurse from the insurance company's Healthy Pregnancy Program called me last week. She said that because my doctor has scheduled me a c-section based on a diagnosis of a small pelvis bone. That this now classifies me as a "high risk pregnancy" and I need to go to a Paranatologist who deals with high risk pregnancies for a second opinion. So of course this gets me upset. But as Johan said, the insurance company probably doesn't want to pay for the c-section, because a regular birth is cheaper. So I call my doctor and talk to his nurse and she basically said the same thing that Johan said. And that the insurance companies try to avoid unnecessary costs. And she said that I don't need to change doctors, I can still have Dr. Fleisher deliver my baby. And if the insurance company feels that way the need to call my doctor, and there is a whole procedure to follow, and not be calling me and scaring me. And as for getting a second opinion, I don't think I need one. It's not "high risk" unless I try to have a regular delivery and the baby doesn't fit. And I think anyone who knows me would probably agree that my bone structure is on the smaller side. So if they call me again I'll tell them to call my doctor, not me.

Painting We started painting the nursery. The bottom part of the walls is the same green color that we have throughout the house, except we did it in satin enamel instead of flat. Then we took a bit of that and mixed it with white until we got a lighter color that we liked. Then we took a bit to the Home Depot and the matched it and made us a gallon of it. This will be the top color. I have 3 days off this weekend so we should get alot more done. We also bought the chair rail molding. We'll paint that white. We also need to do another coat on the closet doors, and the trim still needs to be done. I hope to get all that done this weekend. Then do the wall paper border next weekend and steam clean the carpet. Then finally we can go shopping for the furniture.
