Kicking
Joshua has been kicking alot lately. It's mostly at night when I go to bed. Last night when I laid down in bed he kicked me very hard. It was low in my belly and in the direction of my leg. It was such a hard kick that I kicked my own leg out of reflex. It startled me. But by the time Johan came over to feel he had stopped kicking. One of these days Johan will get to feel him.

24 Weeks
Well I'm 24 weeks today, Wednesday July 5th. That's only 15 more weeks until October 18th. Next week we're going to LA on a mini vacation to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. And it was 3 years ago this weekend that we bought this house. Wow how time flies. ..... I've been feeling good. Except my feet hurt, my back hurts, and heartburn. But I don't really have any complaints, I think I've had it pretty good so far. I just hope things stay this good. I've had one additional pregnancy symptom. I've been getting increasingly clumbsy. Yesterday I fell in the parking lot (don't worry I didn't land on my belly) and today I almost fell at work. And both times I wasn't doing anything but walking along. I think my center of gravity is changing. I'll have to be more careful of my steps from now on. ..... I can feel him kicking more and more now. At first it was so hard to tell what was a kick and what was just my stomach. I feel him in the mornings after I eat breakfast and I feel him when I come home at night from work. But I don't really feel him at all during the day. A friend told me that it's like were rocking the baby to sleep when we are walking around all day. Johan hasn't felt him yet though. I'll put his hand on my belly but he says he doesn't feel anything yet.

Furniture Shopping
On Friday we went to Babies R Us to shop for the nursery furniture. It was so overwhelming. So many different kinds and features and this and that. And everything was more money than I had expected it to be. There were a few that I liked. The one I like the best was way out of our price range. There was another one that was cheaper that I liked, but the changing table was facing the wrong way and it won't fit into the nursery the way I plan on doing the layout. There was one other one that I like too, I took down the info, but didn't buy anything. The other thing I didn't like was that we were in the furniture department for more than an hour going back and forth through all the cribs on display and not a single sales person asked us if we needed any help, not one. So we're going to go to USA Baby next weekend. Maybe we'll have better luck there.
