Nathan is here!
I'm sure you all know that by now but it's taken me a month to find the time to write in this journal. I just re-read my last entry. Seems like forever ago. Well, I was right, you should always listen to your body. The pain was from Nathan being stuck and rubbing against my pelvic bone. This caused a leak in my water and after my last prenatal appointment, I was sent to the hospital for an ultrasound. This lead to me being induced and having Nathan 5 weeks early. I tried to go without an epidural but I only made it 4 centimeters. It hurt like hell. When he came out he was face up and his nose was severely damaged from being stuck. His head was badly bruised as well and he had a small scull fracture but aside from that he was crying and seemed healthy. My placenta refused to come out. It was in little bits and pieces and I almost bled to death. It got sent to some lab because it was so abnormal. I don't know the results yet.  Little Nathan became very jaundice the next day and had to spend the majority of his first week under phototherapy lights in the Neonatal ICU. This was hard for me as I could not hold him and it also put a huge damper on breastfeeding. After about a week we got to take him home and he hasn't let me put him down yet. His nose looks alot better and his head is no longer bruised. He is still having trouble breastfeeding so I am pumping every 2-3 hours and bottle feeding it to him. It is a pain in the ass to say the least! I'm tired and still a little pissed off at the doctors but all in all I'm happy. I like being Nathan's mommy a lot. If I could just figure out how to change him without getting peed on!!!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love you all.
