Buying maternity clothes was:
Maternity clothes are very expensive and very large! Trying clothes on is a major blow to your ego. You hold something up on the hanger and think, "No this won't fit but I'll try it." And then it fits! And then in the back of your mind you think, "Oh, I'm only going to get bigger!?!"
