36 week visit Well, I saw the doctor today. I didn't get much luck on getting induced before 39 weeks but I still have hope something will change or I wil go into labor myself. The baby is really healthy. My cervix is not thinned out at all, however I am a fingertip dilated, which gives me hope that something could happen in the next two weeks, especially when Mike gets here..hahahahaha if you know what I mean. I see the doctor next week on June 26th so we will see if anything has changed.
2007-06-07 (34 weeks)
34 week visit Well on June 5, I found out that Noah is already 5 pounds 7 oz and is head down. He is extremely active the doctor said, which indicates he is good health. His 4-D picture is really cute, he has Mike's eyes, which Mike is happy about. I hope he is just as cute when he makes his way into this world. Next time I go to the doctors I will get some tests done and start getting checked for effacement and dilation. I am still hoping that I go on my own the last week of June and trust me I will be doing anything and everything to help it along. If I can move I have to have a baby, heal up some, pack a house and storage and uhaul, and drive across country with a new born and my husband to Montana to be back by last week of July. If I can't move, Mike has to start back at work July 30th so I want him to spend as much time with Noah as possible. Everyone keep your fingers crossed.
2007-04-24 (28 weeks)
28 week doctor appoitment Well I found out that they want me to try a vaginal delivery, which I am okay with. They don't want to electively induce me until probably July 5th or 6th, but they promised me they wouldn't let me go past that, because of Mike only getting a certain amount of time. I am also measuring a lot bigger. The doctor put it, that I must have big babies. I told her that I don't that Talan was only 5 pounds. I asked if I was measuring on target and she said no I was measuring larger. She said that this baby was going to be big. She didn't tell me what my measurements were, but I measured my own fundal height and it came out to about 34 weeks, which is ahhh about 6 weeks bigger. So yeah...I can hardly breathe and it hurts to walk and it's amazing that I have a little over two months left. However, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Mike got me and YMCA memebership, because I am going to have a lot of weight to lose after this baby. Everything is worth me seeing Noah and giving him a big kiss.
2007-03-28 (24 weeks)
24 week appointment Well I weigh 145 pounds, which is already 4 pounds passed my max weight that I was with Talan....O'well what can you do....NOTHING!! However according to what I weighed before pregnancy I am right where I should be, which is between 142-148 pounds. The doctors are going to discuss at a meeting whether I need to be a C-section or if I can try vaginal due to my pass history of a vaginal hematoma. However, I think I would like to have a C-section, Mike and I call it "operation, save the poo-non-ee" The doctors said in the end it is my choice, everyone who has ever had a C-section and a vaginal said DO THE C-SECTION. The doctor said that he would induce me at 38 1/2 weeks, however that puts it on the 4th of July. By ultrasound I am 4 days ahead of growth so I still might beg to have Noah on my birthday June 29th and also that is the week Talan will be with James so it works out better. Who knows Noah will probably be here between June 28th-July 6th. Mike's family is planning a shower on May 12th and if all goes right, Mike and I are going to have a wedding on June 23rd at his mother's house. If not, no matter what we will be married before Noah, whether it be a wedding or the JP doing the ceremony at the court house.
