The hardest thing for me to give up is:
sushi, ibuprophen when my back is killing, the occasional drink/glass of wine
This month I told:
my dad, jeff's mom and dad, rowzee, sara, my cousin jeff, my mom and colin, my nan, sarah (friend from California), my brother via facebook, jenn (best friend), linda, laura, some people at work (because i don't want to do x-ray studies)
....lost track after a while
They reacted by:
my dad: speechless but very happy.
jeff's parents: excited and guessed a boy already
rowzee: high five for jeff
sara: guessed the news and very happy for us
jeff: glad that mya will have someone to play with
my mom: VERY excited and shocked
colin: "what, are you knocked up?"
sarah: the very first to know..even before jeff...was very excited and happy
my brother: already planning to turn my kid into a punk skateboarder!
jenn: so happy, some tears, guessed when i asked if she was sitting down but let me tell her
linda: speechless
laura: guessed right away when jeff said he had news. happy and excited for us.
work people: happy and willing to help
This month at my prenatal visit I learned that:
my due date is September 26. (but i am going by the September 21 date a website gave me because the conception date fits better with what I remember!) I will have to wait another 8 weeks for the fun ultrasound. that the first visit requires a lot of blood to be taken!
New pregnancy symptoms I had this month:
some queasiness. slight cramps. slight moodiness. bloating after eating, especially late afternoon and evening. hungery ALL the time.
My hopes:
so many!! i hope i continue to have no morning sickness. i hope for a healthy, happy, baby. i hope we can keep the secret for a little while.
