What I'm enjoying the most about my pregnancy so far is:
that i am pregnant! that i do not have morning sickness. that i am feeling energetic enough to continue at the gym. that everyone i tell is so happy for us! reading about the science going on inside me.

The strangest advice I've received is:
no advice yet....but some people (my mom and aunt) think we should find out what sex the baby is. sorry, we will all have to wait!

Names that I've been thinking of:
we have a list that is too long right now!! we need to start editing and selecting maybe 2 sets for each sex to have prepared for the big day.

Girl or boy? I think you will be a:
hmmmm....we've had a lot of talk about this one. we are going to wait till the birthday to find out if its a boy or a girl. i have no "feeling" either way just yet. i started a poll on facebook to get our friend's thoughts.

The old wives tales predict:
well, i read that i am more likely to have morning sickness if i am carrying a girl...so that would predict a boy. but i have read that carrying a girl would give me poor skin, and i have more pimples than before for sure!

At my prenatal visit this month I found out that:
found out from the early ultrasound that i was 13 weeks and 2 days making my due date spetember 23. this is all just estimates anyways. i heard the heartbeat and it was 160. everything else is smooth sailing...no issues to report!

My hopes:
that we will have a happy and healthy baby with an uncomplicated pregnancy and birth. i hope that we can find the right name (we have to prepare 2 sets). i hope to be able to breast feed, at least part of the time. that i can help to create a childhood that is both a lot of fun and a lot of learning (as i had).

My fears:
that i will have complications during pregnancy. that my preexisiting conditions will get too much to bare. i must say i am scared about labour and delivery. developmental difficulties. i worry that my sometimes grumpy jack russell will not adjust to the new baby.
