What I least expected with this pregnancy was:
feeling pretty great. enjoying being pregnant. that I am able to keep up with my workouts at the gym pretty well.

| |
The best bit of advice I've received is:
well, not advice, but a lot of people who have kids already agree with waiting for the surprise.

What has changed the most in my life with this pregnancy is:
my whole mindset. since I didn't want kids for the longest time, now getting excited about it is just such a huge change...but a very good change!

What made me realize that I was really pregnant was:
seeing my belly grow! I never gain weight in my belly...it looks funny to me. seeing the ulrasound definitely made it all real. going to see the obstetrician.

This month's ultrasound was:
I had one on March 20 to check for genetic abnormalities. that was fun just to see the little peanut...so small! next one booked for April 30.

At my prenatal visit this month I discovered that:
the heart rate is 160. met with the OB. I may not be able to have an epidural because of my previous back surgery. oh no! I will have to meet with an anesthesiologist later in my pregnancy. I also learned that I will have to find a way to stop sleeping on my back after 20 weeks (a habit I have picked up lately).

My hopes:
I hope the rest of my pregnancy goes as smoothly as the first part has.
|
|
| |
My fears:
pain control with labour and delivery...possibly no epidural!
