You were born on:
Wednesday August 6, 2008 at 3:01am
| |
You weighed:
8lbs, 4oz
| |
And your length was:
21 inches
| |
After much thought, you were named:
Anthony Leonard DiFiglia
aka Tony
| |
The first thing I thought when I saw you was:
You're finally here, you're safe, you're adorable, you're mine
| |
The hardest part of the delivery experience was:
They whole labor/delivery process was a lot longer than we had anticipated and it got really hard once the epidural wore off during pushing - I was really out of it (thank god) but I remember the chaos, the pain, and everything just going wrong leading us to the OR and an emergency c-section - after that Tony being in the NICU was really emotionally trying although it didn't really hit us until after we'd been home for a few days
| |
The easiest part of the delivery experience was:
the epidural (even though it wore off) - staying still wasn't really easy, but the nurse and Ed distracted me by talking baseball - I felt great immediately :)
| |
What surprised me most about the delivery experience was:
The professionalism and the support of the hospital staff - they were amazing
| |
This is what happened the day you were born:
After being knocked out with pain killers for a few hours, I got to meet my son! I was still not all there and crazy sore, but completely in a daze that Tony was finally here!
