The first thing I said was... "So you're the one that was causing me all that pain." Haha... that wasn't exactly what I wanted my first words to be to him, but I was speechless when I first saw him. I thought that he was beautiful! And he had so much hair!

Dealing with the pain of the contractions while I was pushing.

The easiest part of the delivery experience was:
Once you head was out, the rest of the delivery was great. I wasn't in as much pain and I wasn't pushing as hard, so I was well aware of what was going on.

What surprised me most about the delivery experience was:
The umbilical cord was wrapped around your head. Then once you were in my arms, I was so surprised with how much hair you had!

During campaigning for the presidential election.

Right now I can't wait until you come home from the hospital so I can hold you and cuddle with you. I want to dress you in all the nice clothes I have for you before you get any bigger than you already are!
