Pregnancy Reflections

Fifth Month

The first time I felt you kick:
I haven't felt you kick yet, but I think I feel you moving in there.

  It felt like:
Just like something was moving in my stomach. Still kind of like a little bit of gas.

  I felt:
Relieved to feel it. Since there was a period of time that I haven't felt my baby move and I was very scared. But it still didn't hit home yet, since I don't actually feel it touching my stomach.

The strangest food craving I've had is:
I haven't had any cravings yet.

This month's prenatal visit taught me that:
Great!!! The doctor had some trouble finding the heart beat, which had me a little scared. Then she found it. I asked her what it was at, and she didn't tell me a number but she did say it was lower (not bad low, just lower). She also said that I was carrying low. So if I go by those old wives tales, I have a pretty good chance that I'm having a boy. Which is what we are hoping for!

I found out on 12/4, that I'm having a boy! He was sleeping the whole time, curled up real low in my stomach. But everything looked real good. The doctor said he's one pound and the size on a barbie doll. How cute!

  My hopes:
That my baby will strong, healthy, and smart. And that Noel wants the baby and he spends time with the baby.

  My fears:
That something will be wrong since I haven't felt the baby move yet. I feel him move now, so i'm not that scared now. So my other fears are just that something will be wrong with my baby or there will be some kind of complications.
