I started thinking I might be pregnant when:
I got a runny nose. It just wouldn't quit running, no matter how much I blew it! I also kept feeling weird sensations in my lower abdomen (twinges, pinches, stretching), mixed with menstrual-like cramping. And then when my period didnt show up, I got really suspicious!

I found out I was pregnant when I:
came home from work on April 18. I had to pee really bad and decided to use the opportunity to take a home pregnancy test (since my period never showed up!).

I felt:
estatic and in shock. I couldn't believe it had finally happened!

The first person I told was:
my husband! I told him I had an early birthday present for him. I made him close his eyes and I put the positive test into his hands.

They reacted by:
It took a few seconds to register, but when it did he was all smiles. Seeing his cute proud smile made me cry a bunch of happy tears!

The first ultrasound was:
amazing. It literally took my breath away!

At my first prenatal visit I learned that:
I should up my normal intake of 8 cups of water a day to 10 cups a day. Yay, more potty breaks!!

My baby will be born:
during the Christmas - New Year's Day holidays!

The strangest symptom of pregnancy I had this month was:
the weird "where is your period?" dream I had on the night before I took the pregnancy test!
|
|
| |
My hopes:
are that our baby will be a strong and healthy one.
|
|
| |
My fears:
are not knowing what to expect during this life-changing journey...and giving birth!!
