Today I went in to see my doctor for my fifth month check up...At first they scared me a little b/c the nurse couldn't find the baby's heart beat (not a good sign). She eventually found it and realized that the baby wasn't keeping still. That's what made finding his heart beat a little more challenging. The doctor also measured from my belly button to the bottom of my belly, everything was consistent for 21 wks. All in all, it was a good visit. Everything was normal for mom and baby.

Today Jerome and I attended our baby's second ultrasound appt. It was different from the first time because the baby was more developed and was moving a lot.

We were both anticipating this visit because we were going to find out the sex of the  baby!! At first I didn't want to know but, everyone else wanted to know and since I'm a planner, I had to find out.

So my ultrasound tech brings us in the room and I get in position. We see the baby on the screen and he/she is waving and covering his/her eyes. When the tech. looks between our baby's legs she points out a ........peepee. We're having a BOY!!!!  I was excited and Jerome was besides himself. You know how men are with their boys.  All in all it was a great appt.
