Well, what an eventful 24 hours! The midwife came over last night, and while we were doing our stuff Pete was tinkering with his car outside with Dean, and the door was left ajar. Wayne walked in on me and the midwife chatting, and went home and told his mum! So the secret was well and truly out! It all went well with the midwife she is lovely, i have to go to the clinic next weds for bloods and stuff (yukyuk) and then in two weeks i have the scan!!!

So this afternoon i told Leah that me and Daddy had something to tell her, and she said "ooh are we going to Pizza Hut?" i told her no, it was better than that and she said nothing was better than that! Then she asked if we were getting a new kitten, and i said, well we are having a new member of the family, a new brother or sister for you! She was so happy she nearly fell down the stairs! Ella wanted to see the baby, she thinks its hidden in my trousers! But she likes babies, and quite likes the idea of us having one! So im pleased that went well! Leah wanted to dress up to celebrate!

I feel a bit weird, because underneath Leahs wobbly tooth is her adult tooth, and it is MASSIVE! It also means my big girl is growing up, just as we are bringing a new baby into the family, maybe im just sentimental and slushy but i do feel a bit weird!

So now everyone knows about the baby, its not like a dirty secret anymore, i have notes and appointments booked and two very excited children! Life is sweet!

Well, yesterday i had a phone call, which i missed as i was doing the washing! Im sure it was the midwife, but every time i ring it back i get a stupid automated answerphone! Im now not sure whether to a) ring the midwife, as ive had her number a week now or b) wait until the pregnancy clinic next wednesday. However by then i will be 11 and a half weeks gone, and i really need to know my scan date so i can tell whether i will have to make arrangements for just Ella or both the girls, as it is half term the week after next! Oh so frustrating!

Other than that things are going ok, i have a very healthy appetite, i have been craving proper food, like at the moment, it is an hour till lunch and i want spag bol! And in the evenings i am still poorly, poor Pete feels a bit rejected as i am spurning his advances lately! But its not forever, hopefully another 2 or 3 weeks and i should be feeling a bit better.

Did my weekly pregnancy test yesterday (paranoid or what!) and it was still positive! So am feeling reassured, i just want to hear from a health professional, i am quarter of the way through the pregnancy now and havent seen anyone! I know theyre short-staffed, but jeez, how much time does a phonecall take?

So, here we are again with baby number 3! You would think i would take it in my stride, but i am still worrying about niggly factors such as whether my c section scar will rupture, whether baby is still in there, why i havent heard from a midwife etc etc! I am now 9 weeks and 5 days by my dates and am just starting to feel a little fuller in my pelvic area, and am still quite nautious, although i have a few good days here and there. However whenever im not sick, i just worry! Havent told the kids yet, or family, just a few close friends, its so hard! But in little over 2 weeks i will be 12 weeks, and will hopefully have had a scan so then it will be public news! Anyway im waffling, so till next time...
