Sugar-addicted baby! Well, i have been feeling much better recently, i was sick on sunday but it was Easter and i think that was the main reason - too much chocolate! The baby has certainly been making its presence known, its really quite active these days! It is more active in the evening (great) and when ive eaten some chocolate! I do think its really cute, its not strong enough to be felt outside my (rather portly) tummy yet, and its not uncomfortable at the moment so im relishing the moment! Im sure i will be moaning in months to come! Im also not suffering heartburn yet, with both my girls the heartburn was horrendous pretty much from the word go, so im making the most of it! 4 weeks till the 20 week scan and 6 weeks till we find out the sex! Woo-hoo!

Horses?
Today i had a midwife appointment, which went well. First they did my blood pressure and Ella was worried she would pump me up so much i would pop! Then the best bit, hearing the babys heartbeat! It kept moving around but there is definitely a baby in there! I have to keep reminding myself, because apart from the odd bout of sickness every few days i feel fine. Anyway Ella thought the baby was a horse! The midwife wont see me for another 10 weeks and its 5 weeks till the scan, so im left to get on with it!
All in all im feeling generally well, its reassuring to feel the baby move around, which it tends to do more at night, and it cant be felt outside yet just inside. Im super spotty, i look like a pizza! and my skin is flaky in places too so i look a right state! People are noticing the pregnancy now, its crazy that most of your life you try and hide your belly then all of a sudden its ok to have a belly! Its not quite a proper bump yet, but you can tell im pregnant! Im wearing maternity clothes now, Caz came over with a giant bag full, so i wont have to buy any more!
Im super excited about the baby now, although names are still an issue! We have around 7 weeks till we find out the sex, it cant come soon enough! Im the sort of person who needs to be prepared, and im so itching to buy things!

Aliens?
I have been suspecting that there have been little fluttery movements for a little while now, but last night i was watching Torchwood, it was where Gwen was pregnant with a shapeshifting alien (!) and the baby started really going for it! It was so cute, and is still going as i type this! We think the baby either really likes Torchwood, or is an alien! (im hoping for the first one obviously!)
In other news, i am so sick lately, i am never sick after 12 weeks, and im 14 weeks today! Im also quite dizzy a lot of the time, and extremely tired, im bordering on narcolepsy!
Pete and the girls are increasingly excited about the baby (as am i!) Although we know we definitely dont want anymore after this one, it will be nice to have a big family, the kids will always have someone to talk to if they fall out with a sibling etc! Ella keeps talking to baby through my bellybutton, and is convinced she can see it! Leah just wants to go on a spending spree! I did relent and buy some cute bibs on monday, but i want to wait till i know the sex really.
I have a midwife appointment on wednesday, it has been ages since i saw her! I think its been about 6 weeks now! But theres nothing majorly worrying me, and now its moving around a bit i can keep tabs on it!
No news on the name front, plenty of time for that i guess!

Keeping me on my toes!
This morning i had a bleed, and so went to the hospital to check it out. I went for a scan and the woman doing the scan was a nightmare, she wouldnt tell me anything! I was pumping Ella for info as she could see the screen, but all she said she could see was a spider!
After the scan a nurse called me and said everything is fine, bleeding sometimes happens and to take it easy. And she let me take a photo of the photo! Baby is so cute, looking like its daddy (again) and has doubled in size from 3cm to 6cm - aaah!
The last week or so i have been getting niggly pains in the evening which im told is normal, and if i relax completely i can feel tiny movements! Im now in the second trimester and the 20 week scan is booked for 23rd april, so i am happy with how things are going!
The sickness has worn off and im just left feeling tired, and having to succumb to naps all over the place, i swear im narcoleptic!
