What I'm enjoying the most about my pregnancy so far is:
Everything! I love being pregnant! It's so special!
|
|
| |
The strangest advice I've received is:
The rudest and most misinformed advice was, "You'll kill yourself or your baby by delivering at home!" Can you believe someone actually said that to my face?!?

Names that I've been thinking of:
We want a name that's 1) easy to say, spell and pronounce, 2) unique but not too unusual, and 3) has a great meaning or history. Some names we have ruled out but were considered are Brielle, Adelaide, Callista, Atticus, Levi, and Elias. We have settled on a great boy's name (which you don't get to know) but are having a difficult time coming up with another girl name we both love.

Girl or boy? I think you will be a:
Beautiful, healthy baby. Beyond that, it doesn't matter.

The old wives tales predict:
A lot of stuff that turns out to be a load of crap! I'm pretty sure it's still 50/50!

At my prenatal visit this month I found out that:
At my 12 week checkup ... my blood pressure is excellent. I've put on 7 pounds already. The baby's heart is beating strong and steady. The top of my uterus is just about to push up above my pelvic bone (1.5 inches below my belly button).

My hopes:
That my primary doc will give me the authorization I need to go out of network so insurance will hurry up and get on board so my midwives can run all the necessary lab work that we've been stalling on.
|
|
| |
My fears:
That I won't be able to love another baby as much as I love my first.
