stuffy nose, constipation, itchy throat, achy body... Ok...not much to write... I have a stuffy nose, an itchy throat, i'm still very much constipated, and i feel achy.....

Registry, Shower, Gas, & Braxton-Hicks Ok....so i e-mailed my friends to tell them that we won't be having a baby shower ;( Some entries ago...I wrote about my mom having to move to another house. Well...about 2 days after that entry, my mom gave her current landlord her 30 days notice BEFORE finding a new house to move into. Her 30 days would be up on August 30th. So...A week ago FINALLY she signed a contract to move into a new house! :) They are really excited, and the house seems to be better than the one they are currently in. So...it's for SURE that i wont be having a baby shower....i was pretty sad...but w/e. I could have the shower here in jacksonville....BUT all of our family and most of our friends live in south florida....so it doesn't really make much sense to have people drive 5/6 hours to come to jax for a day only.... so instead me & the hubby and my sis decided instead of having a baby shower we'll be having a party AFTER Tommy is born. So that way people will get to meet him!!! :) So...in that email i told them where we were registered...and 3 of my friends bought me stuff from the registry!! It was soooooooo exciting to receive those gifts over the mail! I went GAGA when i saw them!!! :) It made it all seem soooo much more real!!!! I started going over everything and smiling at the thought of Tommy using this stuff!!! :) My friends are freaking awesome!! lol...
I don't know if i said it earlier...BUT my mom also got a bunch of stuff from her neighbors for my little man. So now i have a crib, a crib mattress, a dresser/changing table, a bassinet, a video baby monitor, AND a bunch of baby boy clothes.
God...it's all becoming so real. And i'm scared to death!!! Am I going to be a good mother? Am I gonna know what to do with my son? When he gets sick will i know how to handle it? There are so many things that i'm scared of.
Today i have my 32 week OB appointment.... I get to listen to his heart beat!! I love that!!!! IT's just really really re-assuring!!
Oh...I THINK that i've been having Braxton-Hicks!! I read another mom's journal yesterday and she described something going on in her stomach and her friend said those are braxton-hicks. Basically.... I'll feel Tommy moving around in there....then i'll feel as if he is pushing up again my belly really hard....where my belly gets really hard and it sort of feels like a ball.... it's not painful...i just feel a lot of pressure there..... i'll be asking my OB....but from what she said...it looks like Braxton-Hicks... ;P
And yet in other news...i've been really gassy.... lol.... i know not something you'd like to share...but it's preggo related and completely natural. Usually i hate talking about bodily functions....and i always try to run out of the room or hide my bodily functions...but it's really hard to do that lately......

acne...acne...and more acne... Ok....so normally I do not really break out too much. I do get the ocational ugly pimple and i have a few not-so-annoying little acne bumps on the forehead. But this is ridiculous.... I have pimple on my neck, my upper chest and some on my back!! I feel like a teenager!! I didn't even get these many pimples as a teenager!!!!!!!!!! I don't have many on my face, a few annoying ones on my forehead, but none on my cheeks and stuff....
It really makes me feel gross...
On a different note, I went back to substitute teaching!! I'm super excited!!!! But it is wearing me out a little bit....i just gotta get used to it. I'm only gonna do it until close to the end of september. And anyway...since now i'm dressing up and not wearing my preggo dresses and doing my hair and putting make up on...i feel like a girl!! :p and I forget about my damn acne.... haha!

2nd vs. 3rd trimester.... I don't know about most preggo women...but my third trimester has been treating me WAY better than my second trimester. Has this happened to anyone? Although I have felt my little one grow to a bigger size....my second trimester was full of ups and downs and mood swings. Yet...this trimester has been pretty much smooth sailing. Sometime I can't get to sleep...but i eventually do.... I much rather take 2 hours to sleep than cry all day because my dog wont listen to me....
