I will add a picture of two to the photo album shortly after this entry, but i will add more once i have more time... ;)

pre-e update part 3... So...i went yet again to get monitored. They sent me home with another bucket for me to collect my urine in ... yuck.... And basically told me that they are waiting on me to be dialated...once i dialate (just a bit), they will induce me and get the baby out. They are expecting it within a week or so.....
That's all folks.....

pre-e update part 2 *sigh*
So on Tuesday i went to the naval hospital as they had instructed me to do. So i go there and they attach the fetal monitors to my belly. Then they take my blood pressure. And it's 164/115!!!!! Which is insanely high. They keep me there for a few hours and my blood pressure seems to be going up and down... so they decide to keep me there for 24 hours to monitor my blood pressure, check on the baby, and do another 24-hour urine test. *sigh* i stayed there.... and it was uncomfortable...and BLAH!! To make a long story short....this morning after i finished collecting my urine, they had me wait for the results so they could make a decision (whether to wait and have natural labor, induce me now, or induce me later). So... last time i did the urine test my protein level was 450, this time it was 900. So it doubled.... They had me go home BUT i have to go back to the hospital twice a week. And this friday i gotta do the 24-hour urine collection thing AGAIN.....because if my protein keeps doubling, then they will def. try and induce me. They would have induced me today HAD i been dialated at all.....or thinned out, or the baby dropped....but i'm none of those. So...i have to wait it out...high blood pressure and all. I'm mildly pre-eclamptic...but not enough to induce me. It's just a waiting game now.... and i'm on modified bed-rest. That means i can do light cooking, shower, getting up to go to the bathroom...but mostly i gotta sit around and do nothing.
i dont know how i feel about all of this. The good news is that the baby's heart rate is at a beautiful 150bpm, and he moves alot!!! :) So yeah......

pre-eclampsia update.... On Saturday we went to the hospital to turn in my 24 hour urine sample. As we were told on Thursday, we went back up to Labor and Delivery to get monitored. So, I got the fetal monitored hooked up, and Tomas Jay is doing great! His heartbeat was about 150 bpm, and when they gave me ice chips he started to have a party in there! Kicking me up and down, and rolling around, and his heart rate shot right up!! :) While that was going on, they took my blood pressure and it was a beautiful 118/80!! :) But i'm not out of the danger zone. They had me stay there until the urine test came back...
When it did...the doctor that was there came to talk to me. First he said that a normal protein level would be less than 300. I was over that (around 500), BUT in order to have pre-eclampsia ... it needed to be over 5,000. So...he then said ... because i have 500, I'm going to have to come back to labor and delivery every week to get tested. If it is discovered that my protein levels shoots up (not necessarily to 5,000), they will induce me. The doctor is confident to have me go to at least 37 weeks (Full term) ... after that they won't hesitate to induce me. So for now, i have to take it easy, elevate my feet, make sure i don't do anything crazy, and try to lower my sodium intake.
That's my update...the bad part is that currently my car is out of order..... my hubby is trying to fix it... so i have to take my hubby to work, so that i can go to the hospital...unless he fixes the car today....
