Guess What I Am Pregnant

Hello Everyone... I haven't told many people of my news. Many of you may not know the difficulties that I have had in getting pregnant but I have miscarried 3 times. 2 of which were after my 20th week into the pregnancy. Those were devastating times and I had difficulty dealing with it and therefore isolated myself from many people in my life.

I have chosen to share this pregnancy with everyone. I have been undergoing fertility treatments in preparation for IVF and have been lucky enough to conceive. I am 18 weeks pregnant today Wednesday the 7th of May. My due date is October 8th. I will go on Monday the 12th to have my 2nd Trimester Ultra Sound where hopefully I will find out the sex of the baby.

I know that you may all have questions but I want you to know that this was well thought out and planned. It is something that I have desired for quite some time. I love the baby's father very much he is one of my best friends and will be an excellent father.

I hope that you can all be happy for me and please pray for us both. I am a little nervous because I have had several bad experience before but with this pregnancy I am on the appropriate medications to help maintain the pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby. I am currently taking a baby aspirin a day and giving myself lovenox injections in my stomach nightly. I am also on Glumetza which is a long acting medication for diabetes. (I do not currently have diabetes but I am insulin resistant which is one of the reasons that I have miscarried previously.) i also of course am taking my pre-natal vitamins.

Again, please pray for me and my baby. I will be updating this page weekly. I really wanted to start it because I felt the baby move for the first time today.
