11/27/07 - The Nursery is Done - Yeah!
I finished decorating the nursery today.  I put the last touches on the wallpaper bubbles and hung the fish I sewed.  I put a picture of the new decorations on the photo album page.

11/26/07 - 38 Week Checkup with Alison

The visit went well, she sounds great still and is measuring a few days ahead of schedule now.  She is hoping that she will be here before our next scheduled appointment on Monday.

11/12/07 & 11/21/07 - 36 & 37 Week Check-up with Alison

We are now down to the weekly visits until delivery, can't believe it!  She was measuring on target (one visit she was two days ahead) and her heartbeat was strong as always.  Alison thinks she is about 7 1/2 pounds right now, lets hope she comes early, otherwise I am in trouble.  Our birthplan was approved and hopefully no one will be using the only birthing tub they have right now.  We had the group b strep test done and will get the results sometime next week.  I am offically full term now and they said she can come anyday now!   The instructor at yoga has me squating away to help engage the baby's head lower and in the proper position,  The contractions have been getting stronger but no other signs of labor yet.

PS - I posted some more recent tummy shots.

11/5/07 - Our Last Childbirth Prep Class is Done

We finished our childbirth classes tonight with Dina... there were some good laughs... the notables...

Matty's face when he read the emergency birth instructions on how to deliver a baby in explicite detail (which is hanging on our fridge by strict orders from the midwfe).

The explantion of how to deal with meconium for the first few days, that we have dubbed "tar poop."

Then the explanation that breastmilk poop is actually supposed to look like that and she even offered us pictures so we wouldn't get freaked out when we saw it.

Telling us to keep a supply of cabbage in the house which she swore would cure any boob pain.

The numerous pictures of the "birth art" that couples had made from the Birthing From Within book we had to read.

And of course her telling me she is proud that I bought "big girl" underwear.
