34 Weeks Well I am now 34 weeks pregnant. About 4 days ago, I've been having more pain and just being plain uncomfortable. Even after lounging in the pool I felt even worse after that. About 3 days ago I had my doctor's appt. She was concerned about my pains and decided to check me. She was surprised to find that I was already 2 cm. dialated. I was even more surprised. At least I know why I've been hurting. I was put on monitors and the results were ok. I did tell her my pains usually get worse at night. She decided to put me on bedrest and have me come in weekly to be checked. My baby's heartbeat was strong. The bedrest theory is a little bit of a joke though. With 2 children at home (one being very hyper), it's not realistic. They have to be fed, bathed, entertained, etc... I just hope this baby stays put for another couple of weeks.

31 weeks Gosh...I'm getting closer. I saw the doctor on June 2nd and had my glucose test. UUGGHH...that orange drink still tasted just as bad..LOL. I lost 5 pounds, which is really strange because I thought I gained because I've been eating more. My doctor wasn't too concerned..she said it was prob. because I was swelling at the last appt. She was concerned that I've been having Braxton Hicks everynight (still having them every night). She wants me to take it easy and stay off my feet as much as possible. LOL... with 2 young children at home for the summer...yeah right. I loved hearing my baby boy's heart again. Music to my ears. We did discuss maybe inducing at 38 weeks due to my history of big babies and that I was already measuring a little big. My son was born at 38 weeks as well and weighed 8 pounds. I'll get another ultrasound at 36 weeks to be sure.
