8 weeks
Well if you are reading this, then you know our quest to have a brother or sister for Tyler is coming to fruition. I have had so many feelings, gratitude was the first especially when I POAS and Joe saw that line because I was scared to look! I started to feel a little under the weather which was quickly replaced by feeling just horrible. All day, every day. Things are getting a little better thanks to the nausea meds but I cant take them for 7 more months!
My body is changing quickly, I guess its to be expected to have a little bump when you have had four other pregnancies. I hear grief from my mother about my weight and my risk of gestational diabetes all the time. Maybe she should come with me to the doctor one of these days and hear that I can barely eat at all and I have lost my cravings for sweets. That is really sad in a way because I do love, love, love chocolate. I am also rather irritable at times and have lost some of abundance of patience.
Thursday we have an ultrasound and visit the RE. I agonized over who to see for an OB and chose a group that will deliver me at the Brigham but I wont have to trek into the hospital. They have free parking and when I told them who my RE was they put me in to see the director of the practice. Pretty impressive. I just pray that our little bean is growing and had a good, strong heartbeat. It feels like forever that I have to wait til Thursday but its really just 3 more days to get through. Will update again after the ultrasound! |
