I asked the doctor to induce my labor because Shon had to be flown in, and my parents had to drive in from out of state. The only reason he decided to induce was because the baby was measuring a week ahead. So, at 39 weeks, I was measuring 40. Shon and I drove to the hospital on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007 @ 7 PM. When the nurse checked me, I had already dialated to 2 centimeters and the contractions were coming 5-7 mins. apart. They decided to monitor me throughout the night to see if and when the real labor pains will began. Well, that morning I was still dialated to 2 centimeters. The nurse came in and started the Picotin drops. The pains began but wasn't intense. Then the doctor came in around 10 and broke my water. Ok, hell on earth began. The pains were intense. My mom and Shon were both there talking to me but all I could think about was my dear Lord. Why do women have to go through such pain. So, the man came in to see if I wanted the epidural. "YES"!!! At that time, I was 4 centimeters dialated. He told me that it would take about 15 mins. Yeah right. Try 30 mins. Then he had to take it out and start over...not because I was moving but he was just having a hard time. I was so scared and praying the whole time. He couldn't do it. So he stopped trying and apologized to me. I understood because I was just glad that he had the sense to stop trying instead of fighing his own mental battles and leave me paralized or something. Well, 30 mins later I was 8 cent. Talk about pain. The epidural man left and came back in with a shot for me. Well, that just made my right side numb in my legs. I still felt the contractions. Then all of a sudden I felt like I had to go to the bathroom and I told Shon to get the nurse and tell them the baby was there and I needed to push. I just knew it was time. The doctor made it in and I was doing the breathing techniques. Then it was time to push. Push 1,2,3,4, and so on. Get to 10, one quick breath and start over again. This is pressure. After about 3-5 mins of pushing I heard the doctor say get the sucktion. OH Hell NO!! I imagined myself doing laps in a pool, holding my breath and kinda racing. I really began pushing then. OUT popped Morgan Elisse. I was so grateful to God that she made it. I love her so very much. I immediately began bonding with her, been breastfeeding her every since.

Week 38
I'm really running behind schedule here...My long in says week 38 but I'm actually about to turn 39 weeks Sunday. I am so ready for this pregnancy to be done and over. I know that I may sound like a terrible mom but the fact of the matter is this feels like torture. I ache all over. I have a pinched nerve in my left leg and if I move the wrong way I might fall. Darius and Leah help me out as much as they could but I feel like I'm bothering them all the time. My house is a mess. Well, not actually but it doesn't smell like pine sol.(Hee Hee) Well, on a better note, I went to the doctor on Tues. as scheduled and he decided to induce my labor Sunday. (Super Bowl Sunday)!! Shon came in Thurs. night around 11 pm. So I am well prepared. So my next entry I should be giving a description of Morgan Elisse Williams.

37 Weeks - Alone Again
My honey left for work again Wednesday night. I miss him so much. I do not want to go into labor with him not by my side. Fortunately for me, his mom is only a phone call away and can be here with 30 minutes to the hour. For my mother though, it is a 3 hour drive..she said that she's keeping her truck filled with gas if I happen to call, she's all ready with her bags packed. I asked the kids if they wanted to go to the hospital or go to a friends house until Shon or my mom comes in and they chose to go to a friends house until I deliver. (I thought it would be nice to give them the option cause Morgan IS THEIR little sister). I've been walking around here cleaning, sweeping, mopping, washing clothers/dishes etc. but it never seems enough. I want my home to be tidy when our bundle arrives.
Oh, for my 37 week dr.'s appointment things were right on path. She is fully engaged but he didn't check to see how dialated or effaced I was. I will be 38 weeks Sunday and I think it would be nice to know exactly what's going on. Shon calls 3 times a day to make sure I'm ok. He can't wait for the baby to get here. Well, with that said, Audious!!

36 Weeks and Baby Shower
On Sat, Jan. 13, 2007 we had the baby shower here at the house. My mom, aunt, and a couple friends drove in from La. Then I had alot of friends here in Texas attend. I had the time of my life. Everything turned out absolutely perfect. The kids had a good time too. I am trying to attach a few pictures but I'm having a hard time with that.
Shon and I went to the doctor Tuesday and he said that Morgan's head was fully engaged. (what?) That if I would go in labor that I will be allowed to deliver. He noted the fact that even though I'm 36 weeks, she's measuring a week ahead. I have been having a hard time sleeping at night due to contractions and such. Really painful. I know the difference between braxton hicks and contractions and these sometimes make me fall to my knees. The only thing is they aren't being timed. They are about 20-30 mins apart so it would be a waste of time to go to the hospital. We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
