Okay, so I went out to visit a friend of mine that I have known for almost 20 years with a mutual friend of both of ours. He lives in Japan and got married last year...in Japan...and this is the first time we have seen him in 2 years. Needless to say we all talked until like 3 am!!!!! I was so darn hungry at 3am...is that normal? I didnt want to eat that late and get indegestion so I just sucked it up until the morning.

Well when I bought the pregnancy test yesterday it came with a free one...and I was kinda in some kind of dream land thinking that maybe the first test was a false positive so what would it hurt to take another one. So at about 4am when I got home I took the second test and it INSTANTLY went positive...is THAT normal. Maybe the two test were faltey...lol. I guess I feel like this is too good to be true.

At the advisement of my doctor I went a picked up prenatal pills last night. These things are HUGE!!! And I hate taking pills. At least they dont have some nasty after taste. I thought the directiosn said to take 1 twice daily but it actually said take 2 once daily...duh. So I took one last night and just took the set of two. Guess I should get some work done...

I am so very excited!!! I am almost 28 years old and this will be my first baby. I have been waiting for this day for so long and now it is finally here. I kinda knew somethingwas going on because I had not gotten my period on monday and I have a 30 day cycle. So I was OBVIOUSLY late. I bought a test this morning on my way tot he office and took it as soon as I got here. That second blue line came up in no time!!!!!

So now I have to figure out how to tell Paul...my love...and the father of our child. His birthday happens to be tomorrow so it could not be better timing. I have to figure out something cute. My best friend suggested that I get little baby items and put them in a wrapped gift. He should figure it out that way. I dont want to give it to him at dinner because his father and step mother will be there and I would rather wait to tell the soon to be grandparents after my first office visit on the 10th of January!!! I am so excited....
