My First Mother's Day Weekend So I didn't know if I was suppose to celebrate Mother's Day because Aiden is not here yet. But last week I got the nicest card from Paul's cousin Adrienne. It was a Mother's Day card for Mommies to be!!! How about that...I had no idea they made such a thing. So I relaxed most of Saturday and on Sunday i went to my Aunts house for a Mother's Day/ Graduation cook out. It was nice to see everyone. Even my Uncle (whom I have not seen in probably 20 years) was there from Minnesota!!!!
I didn't eat at the cook out...but I came home after a couple hours and spent the rest of the day with Paul. He said that we could do whatever I wanted but I never really know what I want. I should have told him that I want him to NOT get on his computer for the whole day!!!! So we grilled a little and had dinner. Sat on the deck and enjoyed the rest of the evening. It was a nice and relaxing weekend.
So my dad and brother are in town and I am going to pick my brother up today from my moms house. Cant wait to see him. I think that he is just going to hang with me for the rest of the day and spend the night at my house. I am going to have to check out what movies are out because we both like movies. I think that my dad is coming over too tonight so he can cook for me...yummy!!!!!
Other than that this is a very busy week for me. I have a town hall meeting on Thursday that I am organizing and a health fair on Saturday. Then a mixer next Thursday. I am looking forward to this month being over because BIG things are happening next month. Paul is moving his office out of the nursery at the end of this month, then I will paint, we will get the house deep cleaned, carpet cleaned, the baby shower will take place, the maternity photo shoot will take place, and then all the furniture will be put together in the nursery. So June is a busy month and I CANT WAIT.
Aiden is just tumbling around in my stomach. He is so active!!!!! He stopped moving around so much in the middle of the night but when he moves you cant help but stop and notice. If he is moving like this in month 6 I am not looking forward to the painful movements in months 7 and 8!!!!! I have attached a picture from my Saturday in the park...you know that paparazzi was on the scene!!!! LOL.

Doctor's Appointment So we went to the doctor on Monday...or at least the we part was the plan. Paul had to go to his fathers house to work on a computer then he had to go to the bank. So he decided it was best to meet me at the appt. Well he missed the appt completely. And that is fine because they are not really doing anything special at these routine appts. She said that the baby was fine...heartbeat was strong and that everything from the exploratory 20 week ultrasound was normal. So we are good to go....15 weeks and counting...lol.
After the movies we went and saw Iron Man!!!!!! It was WELL worth the price of admission. So much so that I think that I want to see it again...lol. I am a self proclaimed movieaholic but I have been really off my movie game the past 6 months or so. So I have been catching up via blockbuster...lol. But definately go and see Iron Man.
Then today I picked my father and little brother up from the airport. They are in town for my cousins graduation from college that will take place this Saturday. I will not be going for various reasons...one of them being that it is in south Georgia and they are leaving at 4am. I get up that early for NO ONE...until Aiden gets here that is...lol. Then I went to work and took my cousin out to lunch. She is a sophomore at Spelman College and is returning to Minnesota on Saturday for the summer. THEN she is going to Spain for her fall semester of college. How cool will that be!!!! So we went and had Thai food. LOVE the coconut soup...and the crab angels...and the shrimp fried rice. Yummy!!!!
But now I am sleepy as heck and struggling to stay awake to write this entry. I guess my next entry will not be until after the weekend. So until then...

Jazz Festival!!!! I had a BLAST this past weekend Murfreesboro!!!! The Jazz festival was so much fun...even though I did get a little sunburn on my nose. I thought that I put enough sunblock on but I guess I was wrong. Note to all mommies to be...with summer coming up make sure that you have plenty of sun block on because our hormones are raging and we tan/burn faster than we normally would. Back to the Jazz Fest....so we got there on friday and went straight to my old favorite mexican place. And of course the food was fabulous!!!! Then we came back to M'boro and went by Lubby's (Paul's mom...that is her chosen grandma name) house. It was great just hanging out with them. We checked in the hotel late that night then went to sleep.
I had to get up at the butt crack of dawn to go and get my hair trimmed...I love the feel of freshly trimmed hair!!!!! It was good to see Stacy too because I wont see him again anytime soon...which means that I am going to have to find someone to trim my hair here!!!! (I am freaking out just thinking about it!!!!) When I get back from that I pick up mom and Jessie and we go to the Jazz fest...where we stay until about 9pm that night. My allergies were in FULL effect!!!!! That was the only miserable part about it. I am not quite sure what allergen effects me in TN, but I know it is not pollen. I ate ALL day out there...and the food was great. Especially the roasted corn on the cob...I think I ate two or three of those alone!!!! Then we went back to Lubby's (after I stopped and got some Benadryl) and stayed for maybe an hour...I was tired as heck and drowsy from the medicine.
We woke up late yesterday, went to breakfast and then went back to Lubby's to say bye...but that bye ended up taking like 2 hours...lol...which was fine. We then hopped on the road and came on back to Atlanta. Oh wait...there was a pit stop on the way back to Atlanta. At the Carter's outlet!!!!! Of course it took me only like 15 minutes to spend $100 on clothes for Aiden but I got SO much stuff. I mean this is the same stuff that is in Macy's for 3x the price. Everything was $5, $7 or 70% off!!!! I could not resist. The good thing is that I bought mostly 6 and 9 months this time. I think that he has enough newborn and 3 month stuff.
Oh and Paul (yes we are back to his regular name) went to Marshall's this weekend to pick up something that is WELL overdue that he needed and he realized what happens to me anytime I go somewhere for myself that has baby clothes. He got sucked in the matrix and ended up getting Adien a couple cute items!!!! I was cracking up when he told me that he could not resist...lol. We took a couple pictures this weekend but I dont have my camera software installed on my new laptop...so I will have to upload later.
We have a doctors appt today so I am going to get up and go to the office to get my work for the day done because Paul is going to take me to the movies after the appointment!!!! I am so excited. We have not been spending a lot of time together and I think that it has been wearing on me. I kind broke down last night and cried for the first time since being pregnant. I was a mess. But I feel a little better now...so until next time!!!!

As I promised.... Okay, as I promised in my last entry I have added pictures of the fabulous invitations to the photo album. Just about everyone has gotten their invites and EVERYONE loves them and is showing them to everyone they know...lol. I hope that Kimmy gets some more business off of her creation. BD even posted an entry on his blog about the invites. His blog address is www.pd-evolution.blogspot.com...he raves and raves about them. So it is an understatement to say that we are happy with how they turned out.
Nothing much going on this week. Just busy with work. We are going to Tn this weekend for a Jazz festival that BD's step father helped create a long time ago in Murfreesboro. BD is not going but my mom, her guy friend and I am...and I am really looking forward to it. I love hanging around his mom and that side of the family. They are so laid back and HILARIOUS!!! And right now I love to laugh...well I always love to laugh. But laughing sends good vibes to my baby so I want to laugh as much as possible. So we are going to leave tomorrow and come back Sunday afternoon. And of course I am going to get my hair done while in TN...I really miss my Stacy so I have to take advantage anytime I am in the city. AND I have yet to find someone to trim my hair to my liking...I have the color department covered, but cutting is a whole new problem.
Well I have a lot to get done today...I have a board meeting this evening and I still have to wash clothes, pack and wash my hair. So I will send a re cap of the weekend on Sunday!!!! Don't forget to stop by the photo album to see the invites!!!!
