journaling vs. blogging So in the past I use to journal, and it was helpful in getting out any feeling I was having. (Since I am non confrontational and an emotion introvert sometimes...most of the times) Well I have decided to begin journaling again. And I will use my blog for just regular baby entries. That seems to make more sense to me and that way I can let all my feelings out in my journal.
So I decided to make the move and start changing all the light bulbs in the house to more eco friendly ones. They are not as expensive as I thought that they would be. I also got a hand vacume today. Now THAT i am exited about. I dont even like to look at my stairs as I walk up them because of all of the black dog hair that is on them...UGH. So I will vacume the steps a little later this afternoon. I decided to take today off to finish my recuperation from my Saturday. And I am glad that I did because the rest of my week is going to be pretty busy. I am going to look at the plantation blinds to replace the plastic ones in Aiden's room. I would like to change all the blinds in the house but I will start with the two windows in his room and the 2 in the master bedroom. Take it floor by floor. I think that they are only like $25 a piece.
I FINALLY felt Aiden have the hiccups last night (or early this morning) it was the weirdest feeling, but I am glad that he finally had them. People ask me all the time if I have felt him have hiccups and until last night I had not. I slept horribly last night. I just could not get comfortable. And that may be because Aiden could not get comfortable....or maybe the other way around. Either way at about 6am I sat up and slept that way...I then finally got about 3 hours of continuous sleep.
Well I am about to do my first journal entry so until next time...

Reviews... Okay so I have not written a review on my pregnancy pillow nor my BabyPlus in a while. The pillow is still a Godsend!!!!! I don't know what I would do without it. I have only woken up a couple days with a sore back and after I put my heating pad on it for about 10 minutes it feels much better. So no complaints there. So once again I will encourage ALL mommies to be to get one that fits your pregnancy needs. I mean buying more pillows is nice but getting one that wraps around your body and supports the growing belly is irreplaceable. The only downside is that Paul and I cant cuddle anymore...but that does not matter because he comes to bed so late that it would not make a difference.
The BabyPlus thing is kinda a toss up. Because I wont really be able to see results until Aiden gets here. I mean he sleeps through the lessons now which I think is a good thing. Wouldn't that mean that it is soothing to him? Either way i am on lesson 7 of 16 so we are moving right along.
I still cant believe that I am 26 weeks pregnant and that my 27th week is the last of my second trimester!!!! I cant wait for Aiden to get here so I can just look at him and smell him and love him. I already love him and every time he moves inside of me I smile. I know I said that I was not going to buy any more clothing but I was at old navy and they had staple items for like $3!!! I had to buy some. Now I just need more hangers. Aiden almost has a whole closet of clothing. I wont get anything else for him....or at least I will try.
Still a little lonely. But I try to stay busy so I don't have to think about it...or feel any certain way about it. I guess I imagine what it would be like when I was pregnant a little differently. But oh well...nothing to dwell on. It is what it is. I am watching this movie "There will be blood", pretty good too. Glad the Celtics beat the Cavs today....GO CELTICS!!!!! Until next time...

Survived!!!! So I survived yesterday!!!! I mean it was madness. I got to my health fair about 15 minutes late and people were already lined up at the various screening tables!!!!!! I could not believe it. I mean it is rare that my people are on time for stuff but I guess since it was free that is a different story. I know you have gone to a heath fair where it is just a bunch of booths of pharm companies giving away stuff...well this was nothing like that. We do actual screenings!!!! Cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, prostate checks, breast screenings, colal-rectal exams, HIV tests, vision tests, BMI screenings, and the list goes on!!! How fabulous is that. It was suggested to my by my mommy (who came and got a massage, cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure checked) that we should do the health fair in decatur as well....something to think about. Even at 2pm when the health fair was over people were still trying to get blood drawn for tests!!!
So in the middle of my health fair I had to go and drop diabetes info off at the FACE diabetes heath fair. Which was only about 5 minutes away. So I did that at like11am because that health fair was from 1-5. So after I left our health fair at about 2:30pm, mom and I went to get some lunch cuz Aiden and I were hungry. We went to this place called Food for Life...and I had the BEST white bean and veggie soup. It was pureed...and SOOO tasty!!!! I will be calling to get some of that to go this week. After that I went and at at my booth at the other health fair until about 5pm and came home.
Needless to say my fee were swollen and hurting, the lower part of my stomach was heavy and cramping from standing up so much, and I was just plain tired!!!!! But I didn't go to sleep because I knew I would not fall asleep that night. But when I did go to sleep I was OUT!!!! I woke up at 10am, fixed breakfast, and came right back to sleep waking up at a quarter to 2pm. How lovely. I would not trade my lazy weekends for anything in the world. But I guess they will not be so lazy once Aiden gets here so I need to enjoy them as much as possible!!!!!!

26 weeks!!!! So I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I have been SUPER busy this week which has had my hormones on edge. My town hall meeting is over and today I have TWO health fairs to be at!!!!! Aiden is hanging in there. Still very active in the belly. We (Aiden and I) went to see Narnia yesterday afternoon and it was great. He was moving around the whole time...probably because of the sound in the movie. His movements are not as jerky anymore...they are fluid...guess that is because he is getting bigger and loosing space in there.
I had to go and get a couple dresses for work this week. And got some good deals...two of my three dresses were under $20!!!! And while I was at Motherhood Maternity they had this really cute shirt that said "Kicking 24/7" on it!!!! It was like jersey style...with either pink, green or dark blue stripes. I HAD to get it...the one with the green of course!!!!!. Shoot the darn t-shirt cost more than any of the three dresses I bought. But I just could not pass it up...especially since Aiden is a mover and a shaker!!!!
Well I got up early so I could fix myself breakfast before leaving the house. I am suppose to be at the first health fair in 15 minutes and I have not even taken a shower. So I guess I better get to movin!!!! Until next time!!!!!
