Hilton Head!!!
So we have arrived in Hilton Head...barely...lol. Such a long dreadful day. But it is over now so tomorrow I start fresh. The house that we are in is FABULOUS!!! Way better then the house from last year. This one is more modern and the layout is much nicer. We had a great dinner where I had a steak (I will talk about why in a minute) and we had GREAT conversation.
So I went to the doctor yesterday to get the dreaded gestational diabetes test...that flat, overly sweet soda crap is the worst!!!! Well I don't have gestational diabetes but I am anemic (hence the steak at dinner). Of course I found that out at like 10pm so I sent my doctor an email asking what I needed to do. And I got a response back on a SATURDAY!!! Can you believe that. So they want me to take this specific type of iron supplement twice a day with OJ. So I am going to go and get that tomorrow. AND some OJ. I am such a juice snob right now so I hope everyone does not drink my OJ...lol. Also, for the first time ever I am bruised in the location of where they took my blood. I mean that never happens...I wonder if the anemia has something to do with that.
Well I am super tired from all the days BS (I wrote about that in my personal journal so no need to do it again here) and all the travel. So I am going to take my prenatal vitamin and go to bed. So until later this week!!!!

 Circle Stencil
So I have the two sets of circle stencils that I ordered. I am not quite sure if they are going to work but we will soon find out. I wanted to have a paint party the night before my baby shower but my mom have vetoed that because she needs help setting up for the baby shower. So maybe we will have a baby shower prep party instead.
Natalia got the Bebe Pod chair that I ordered for Garyson today and she sent me pictures of him in it...he is so cute!! I have attached the picture to this entry. It will help him get stronger and sit up earlier. He will be 3 months on Sunday!!!! I cant wait to see him when they get here for the baby shower!!!!!
So we are leaving for Hilton Head on Saturday. And I cant wait...I will get a few days of relaxation before the conference starts so that will be great. The woman that is going to be doing my maternity photos is doing photo shoots in Hilton Head while I am there...I wonder if I am going to see her. I would love to meet her before my shoot. I have washed all of our clothes so I will pack tomorrow evening after our Doctors appt. We have to do the dreaded gestational diabetes test!!!!! I am not looking forward to drinking that sugar liquid. I will have plenty of water on had to try and counteract the sweetness. I wonder if the office is wireless because I have to be there for a darn hour!!!! What am I going to do for that long? I wonder if they will let me leave and go to the mall or something...lol.
Victoria's Secret starts the semi annual sale soon and I want some more boyfriend pants. I know that they have them in a lightweight form and I want a couple pair for the summer.
Paul and I had a rough week but we worked it out...and boy am I glad. Hopefully things will be looking up...maybe this little break together is just what the doctor ordered!!!

Name Stencil
So I finally placed the order for Aiden's name stencil. It is going to look like Kimmy arranged his name on the invitation. It took me all this week and constant emails back and forth with the company that makes them to get it right. The place is www.craftcuts.com.
Unfortunately it is going to take like 2 weeks for me to get it but that is okay because I will be in Hilton Head from next Saturday until the following Saturday. So when we get back it will be here ready for me to use. I figure that I will do the name on that Sunday and then take Monday and Tuesday to do the dots on the wall. Since the house is going to be deep cleaned on Wednesday I wanted all of the painting to be done. I guess I took too long to order the stencil and now my time line is thrown off a little.
So far my memorial day has been pretty lazy...and I like that. I will do a little work from home tomorrow and try my best to work from home most of this week...gas is too darn high to be driving around Atlanta!!!! Maybe I will go to the movies tomorrow and see the Indiana Jones movie...I need to call my daddy and get his review of it before I see it...we have similar taste in movies. So until next time....

Caribbean Festival!!!
Well I am 27 weeks today...Paul and I went to the Caribbean Festival downtown Atlanta. It is hot as heck outside and I knew that I was going to be walking for a while so I wore tennis shoes rather than my normal flip flops. Man am I glad I did that!!!!! After 4 hours my feet were screaming...and so were my thighs!!! But I had a great time. Good food and great music...and lots of women not wearing enough clothes...even the big ones. That was too much for my eyes!!!
Aiden was enjoying the music and dancing around in my stomach. There were so many babies out there!! Strollers Strollers everywhere. It seemed like I was bumping into one every 2 seconds. I love just looking at all the babies and wondering what Aiden will look like. My friend Natalia said that when she was pregnant she tried to imagine what her son Garyson would look like, and he looks nothing like what she thought. He is such a cute little butterball!!!!! I cant wait to hold him and kiss on his fat cheeks when they come for the baby shower.
Next weekend we will be going to Hilton Head for a week with Paul's family. (annual family vacation) It is a work/play trip. The first part is all vacation then on Tuesday the GSMA conference starts. I wont have to do much for the conference since it is not my organization, but I will help with the registration and go to a couple of the dinner events. Other than that I will be lounging at the house hopefully by a pool...or I will go to the beach. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Counting down the days.
