Hand Pain So I may have mentioned in one of the past posts something about my hands hurting and the doctor saying that it was normal. Well I have to disagree...this is NOT normal. I have old lady hands. I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I cant even close my hands because my finger joints hurt so bad!!! This is horrible!!!! So now that I am able to sleep through the night (thank GOD!!!) I wake up with old lady hands. It is like trading one evil for another. When does it all end? I mean realistically...am I suppose to believe that when this little man pops out of me that all of these ailments are just going to go away? That just does not seem logical. But we will see.
Pretty boring weekend. I had to work half the day on Saturday at a Diabetes event...which went faster than I thought it would so that was fine. But when I got home I was so darn tired!!! So I took a cat nap and then just chilled out for a while. Aiden's dad and I went to the pet store and then to get his THIRD iPod...yes I said THIRD. He seems to be able to break them with ease. Then we went for one of my favorites...MEXICAN!!!
Yesterday was of course my lazy Sunday, but Paul casually mentioned Saturday evening that he invited my mother, her boyfriend, my brother and my uncle over for dinner on Sunday. WOW...so I had to figure out something to cook that would not have me in the kitchen (standing up swelling my feet and ankles) all day. So I made lasagne. But I had to go to the store and STILL ended up standing in the kitchen too long and swelling my poor ankles...lol. But it was good and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Didn't want to get out of bed this morning because I felt a little achey so I am still in bed...lol. I hope that I am not coming down with something this late in the pregnancy. I am going to need ALL of my strength in the next couple of weeks...not to mention for the delivery. I really cant believe that I am going to give birth in less than 30 days!!!! It seems like yesterday when I was 13 weeks and SOOO ready to give birth...or at least I thought that I was ready...lol.
Aiden's glider and dresser will be here this week so I have to start washing clothes. A friend of mine gave me the best idea about how to arrange the clothes in his closet (because it is FULL of clothes)...she said to do it by size. How smart is that!!!! I was doing everything by color...lol. So i am going to arrange by size...then color...lol. Perfect!!!

Aiden's Chair So Aiden's room is ALMOST completely finished. We should be getting his dresser and his glider at the end of this week. Then I can wash all his clothes and finish the room (well it will kinda be finished...still have to pick up the mattress and bedding...lol).
One of the little decorative things that Aiden's dad and I wanted for his room is this chair from Pottery barn Kids...it is just so darn cute!!!! (see picture) I picked up the insert when I took back one of the many diaper bags that we got at the baby shower and got the slip cover in the mail yesterday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the chair and cant wait to see his little butt sitting in it.
I am going to pick my mother up from the salon today to go do a little retail therapy...lol. I still need to get a formal dress for this ball next week. And I am not very excited about it...which means that it is going to be harder for me to find something that I like. I have about 15 formal dreses in my closet now (we go to about 5-6 events between November and the end of January every year) but cant fit not one of them because of my expanded back and protruding belly...lol. So hopefully I will be able to find something that I can wear again later...with a couple alterations.
Then I have another one of those Diabetes events tomorrow so I have to go to the office and get ALL that stuff to put in my car to set up tomorrow morning. I am not looking forward to sitting there for 4 hours doing NOTHING!!!! I will make sure that I get plenty of help carrying that stuff to the car and into the event because it is very heavy stuff and I dont want Paul yelling at me when he finds out nor do I want anything happening to my baby...especially this far along.

GREAT NEWS!!! Okay only mommies to be will understand why this is such great news. But for the past 3 nights Aiden has slept thru the night!!!! Hence...I have too. It seems that he falls asleep around midnight and does not stir very much again until about 9am!!! Can you believe that.
Even with me tossing and turning his movement is minimal...he just adjusts to whichever side I move to and then goes right back to sleep. So I have been very rested lately and it has been fabulous!!!!

34 week appt So on Monday we had our 34 week appt. There were a few things that I wanted to know...first I wanted to know if I could have an ultrasound to find out Aiden's positioning. Hariett said NO...but she did feel for his positioning and he is head down...like I thought that he is. Then I had questions about my hands hurting all the darn time!!! She said it was Carple Tunnel...due to the pregnancy. The swelling in my hands is effecting y joints which is causing them to feel like 85 year old woman hands...lol. So all of you mommies to be out there whose hands and joints in the wrists and hands all of a sudden just started hurting...that is why. And there is nothing you can do about the hands...DO NOT POP YOUR KNUCKLES!!! But if your wrists are hurting you can get wrist braces. I Ihave one already for my let arm but my right is the one that hurts the worst to I have to go and get one for the right arm.
Other than that and the fact that I weigh a wopping 172 pounds...everything is on the up and up. I have my 36 week appt. next wednesday 1. Beacuse we wanted Hariett and 2. because my conference starrts next Saturday. For this appt I have to get naked again...I was not looking forward to this. They will do a vaginal exam and stuff like that. It makes me realize that I really am close to the finish line...lol
Aiden's Dad did a remake of the maternity slideshow to put on Aiden's blog and I cried again!!! I have come to the conclusion that it is the song that keeps making me cry. It is calles "Sweet Sweet Baby" by Michelle Featherstone. You must download it and listen...it is a great song for a mommy. The first verse kills me every time!!!!!
Oh and we ordered the last piece for Aiden's nursery. So as soon as it gets here and Aiden's Dad puts it together I can wash his clothes and finish organizing the nursery!!! How exciting!!! I cant wait until it is all together.
Other than all that...lol...nothing much going on. Aiden is as active as ever and I have no clue how he can move around in there since he has no space...but I guess where there is a will there is a way. I have decided that I am completely fine with him looking just like his daddy as long as he has my personality traits...lol.
