How early can you tell? So I didnt have my 16thweek ultrasound. Instead it was scheduled for next week. I'll be 17.5 weeks along and want to know if that's far enough along to be able to tell the sex of the baby...At our last ultrasound the tech said she saw enough to believe it was a girl. That was at 14 weeks...Well i dont know this is all new to me. How early can they tell?
Any info would help..

So I posted pics of my ultrasound and total there's 4. 2 taken at 7 weeks and 2 taken at my ER visit at 14 weeks...what a difference 7 weeks makes!! Our baby is doing very well and moving all around in there. Though i dont feel "kicks" I can feel the baby when it cruises along my uterus and when I lay down and he/she moves to the left a small--very small bump can be felt and i can feel it move along just below my belly button. Coooool
I would like you to feel free to comment on any pic u'd like!!!
More to come with the ultrasound next week!!!!!!!!

15 weeks I am 15 weeks pregnant and I must say this has been the fastest 15 weeks of my life. As long as pregnancy seems to last, it sure goes by quickly.
I feel the baby moving now, but not so much kicking, but pressing upward sometimes it gets uncomfortable though and during intercourse she moves around but I don't notice until the moment we've stopped. I think the reason why i feel these movements so early is because I am very thin. I started showing just before I turned three months.
Vincent and I were talking about names again and we've ex'd Vanessa and thought about Victoria. I really think that name will fit her. My pregnancy/woman instincts tells me its a girl but my doctor says we should know at our next u/s which is next Tuesday at 16 weeks!
I am excited to see
Victoria Lauren maybe...
Or Victoria Lei...
There is a tradition in my family that all my fathers children and their child have 'L' middle names so I want to continue it...
Since my father these are all the L middle names in my family and so I dont want to reuse or take a name someone already has:
Lee
Lue
Lynn
Lavon
Lind
Laine
Lynette
Landon-Lazarus
Lincoln
LaSheed
Lily
Lawrence
Lynese
...And the tradition lives on.

Pray for me... So yesterday morning I woke up to get ready for work at 8am. I got ready and made a nice turkey omellette breakfast. I felt really good that morning, very energetic. I headed out to work but shortly after I got there I didn't feel so good.
I tried to walk around instead of standing still at the cash register but it really wasn't helping.
I noticed a customer was ready to be checked out so i approached the register. She pulled out her coupon and I remember feeling very lightheaded. I called over a co worker to show me how to do coupons and as he was explaining it I can remember feeling dizzy as my attention immediately going somewhere else to the point that I couldn't hear him but the sound of the television far off in the distance...
And then, I was out.
When i opened my eyes there was my co worker and my boss down at my side and at first i couldn't comprehend what they were saying. The same customer was just standing on the other side of the counter looking at me...
My boss helped me to the upstairs and I rested there until he came back with water. He went into the office. Still feeling light headed, I called Vincent to let him know what had happened but before I knew it...
I was out again.
I remember the ambulance being there soon after and the paramedics all asking me questions--there were about 4 men there.
I was talking pretty quiet not many words I immediately felt tired and dehydrated and lightheaded again.
They gave me oxygen, checked my blood sugar, blood pressure, and prepped me to be taken to the ambulance....
******************************************
After spending over 10 hours in the ER I was discharged. After so much poking and prodding I was able to go to the ultrasound room to check the baby.
The baby was alright...measuring right on time! My due date was bumped up a day to the 7th of July. the heartbeat was 146 bpm...lower than the 165 i got at week 10 but the tech said its normal for it to fluctuate...And the ultrasound tech, when checking between the legs, speculated the baby was a girl
And everything was ok with me too--or at least thats what i thought.
They came into my room later that afternoon and told me that I would have to stay overnight because my heartbeat had become very irregular...arythmia (spelling?) I think is what they called it.
After 3 beats they said there was a long pause before the next beat would come and it had become a pattern over so much time. All of the EKG's showed abnormal. They started asking me questions about sudden deaths in my family and major heart complications...all of which were answered 'no'.
I became very scared and Vincent and my sister who had been there for sometime were very concerned, too.
*******************************************
I didn't spend the night, of course. But I was ordered a heart box that tracks my heart rate over a course of 24 hrs. And was made an appointment for Feb 25th for further investigation.
I'm scared. But, I hope everything will be ok with me. The doctors said it had no effect on the baby but what if later it does???
If you're reading this just please keep us in your prayers...
