2007-02-03 (baby has arrived)

Her First Steps

1st February 2007.

1..... 2..... 3..... 4......

She can now make few steps all by herself. I was heading home, climbing the stairs that night when I heard Mommy laughing... happily... As I opened the door, I saw my little one trying to make few steps all by herself hihihi!

To my excitement, I immediately called Derrick at work hahaha! Just to tell him about the good news bwahahaha! He just said WOW! Ok, he's busy hahaha!

After few seconds, she went towards the sofa and climbed on her own. Watched her quietly, waited what will she do next. I knew it. She'll try to come down. Slowly... I almost screamed coz I was scared that she might fall.

Another exhibit hahaha! She did it on her own. Of course yes. I captured it on video hahaha!

So what? I'm a proud Mama! :p

2007-01-26 (baby has arrived)

Perfectly Normal

Deye had her vaccination the other day, 24th January 2007, just right after her first birthday. There were two shots given for Rubella and Hepa A. She's now 22lbs. The height? I forgot hehehe, I have to check her chart now. :p

Next appointment will be in August.

Her First Birthday

Familybirthday 23rd January 2007. Deye celebrated her first birthday. A very simple celebration. Got up at 9am. Had a quick breakfast. Dressed her up. We went on (Bahrain) tour at 11am, to Saudi Causeway and Tree of Life, where else bwehehehe! But this time with Mamita, my mom. Here are some of the photos taken there. Walang masyadong still photos, it was all on video. Just now I realized, we didn't capture when Deye was blowing her candle. Oooops! When I was blowing her birthday candle pala hahaha! Pero nakavideo naman! Nung gabi na, we had a simple dinner at home, one of Derrick's colleagues came over with a friend, tapos ang aking kumareng Rochelle ay dumating din. Syempre, dami regalo ni Deye from her. Kasama na yung Pasko, di nya kasi naibigay.

Naku hanggang ngayon, hindi pa din ako makapaniwalang meron na akong anak na nagbe-birthday hehehe!

All in all, masaya! Kahit walang big party, at least we got a chance to spend time together. Thanks to our bosses na din na binigyan kami ng day off when we requested.

Turning One Year

Time flies so fast, it's been a year now since I gave birth to Derelle. But un/fortunately, we're not having a big party. We choose to have a tour in Bahrain and have dinner outside afterwards, just for the family. If the weather will be fine, just fine...

Anyway, she can do a lot of things now. She can say Mama, Dada, Daddy, Baba, Tata, even her name Deye. That's how we started calling her Deye. When we first heard her say that, we concluded that she was trying to say her own name "Derelle" hehehe!

She stands on her away and trying to make few steps, but she can't. She still falls off balance. I know she would, very soon. Knowing Deye, she's such an aggressive baby. And smart too! She can wave her right hand when you say bye bye, clap her hands, blink her eyes when you say beautiful eyes, she can give you a flying kiss, and she would put her lips if you say give me a kiss. Oh! I know there would be a lot lot more.
