It's been a while since the last time I logged in here. I wasn't feeling very well lately. Constant headache has been making me sick, but I'm fine now so no worries...
I've been eating a lot lately that sometimes surprises Dada. I'm sure I've gained more than 2kgs this time. And hey sweetie, Mama's started to show a little, just a little... I think we'll be on our 24th week tomorrow! Whew! We're almost there! Couldn't wait to hold you in my arms. You've been very naughty huh! When I'm trying to sleep, that's the time that you'd start kicking so hard.
People around us have been very generous. Mama's colleagues love to give us fruits and snacks. How sweet they are yeah? They couldn't wait to see you...

Week 21
This week was bad. Mama has been suffering from a terrible headache. Today is supposed to be our 5th prenatal check-up but I had to do it earlier. I was feeling feverish and getting constant headache since Tuesday. I didn't come to work on Wednesday, went home early on Thursday, straight to the hospital.
We finally heard your heartbeat, it was too fast and loud, couldn't believe it was yours hahaha! I am now weighing 48.2 kgs. On my next visit, we will try to see if you really are a girl, by that time it will be clearly visible as per the doctor.
Then after that the doctor checked me up. My throat and everything. She said that it could be a viral infection or due to the change of weather. But I was still doubtful so from there we went to my eye doctor. I was right! It was an optical problem. That's why the constant headache and vomitting. My eye vision is 375R-350L plus 25R-25L astigmatism. She said it's not advisable to change my eyeglasses now or buy a new pair of contacts. Coz when you are pregnant eye grade tends to change rapidly. So I guess I may just have to bear the pain when it hits me. My OB had given me some pain reliever tabs but I don't want to take them, it's 500mg tablet each to be taken 3x a day if I could not tolerate the pain, no way I'll do that! I'm afraid it'll affect you.
Anyway, yesterday we went for a Friday mass and I felt dizzy again, however, I managed till the mass got over. From there we went to Last Chance to shop some grocery items. It was fun shopping with Dada, he would keenly check the prices and net weight and then compare them to one another. How smart huh!?
As soon as we reached home, I cooked some pasta. Made extra for our breakfast the next day. While eating, we were watching Artificial Intelligence. Went to bed, but Dada was still watching TV in the bedroom. I think you were disturb by the loud noise. You kept on moving a lot! So I told him to feel you. You were really kicking. Dada tried putting his ear on my tummy and you really kicked him. He was laughing out loud hahaha! And told you to come out fast, Dada can't wait to see you. He even told me to give you a brother/sister to play with soon, he was actually telling me to try after a year. But I refused! Hahaha! I prefer a 3-years gap. It's quite hard to become pregnant again while you're still a baby.

Sweet Baby Stuff
I went to Soroor-BYC last night to buy some maternity tops for me, but fortunately, I found some cutie baby stuff for you. I ended up buying things for you and not for me. I'd always say I won't buy anything until I reached 7 mos. but I couldn't help it...
Since I'm still doubtful that you are a baby girl, I decided to buy mint green and sky blue. At least either boy or girl could wear these colors, you know... I got two sets of the following for you little one:
Receiving Blanket
Overall Suit
Bonnet
Mittens
Booties
Bib
I find 'em really cute.

Busy weekend...
It was a busy weekend for us. On Thursday night, we went to Tita Rochelle's house for her birthday. We had Pasta, Rice, Chicken Afritada, Fried Chicken and Fruit Salad. Guess what? Tita Rochelle felt you moved! It was very quick though. Dada came to pick us up at around 1:00 a.m. As soon as we reached home, I suddenly threw up. I dunno why. Didn't you like the food? We were okay when we were there, I wonder why?
Yesterday, I got up at 1:00 p.m. Gosh! I didn't realize it was that late huh! Sorry for not being able to make breakfast for you. Mama needed extra sleep to compensate the previous night's staying up late hehehe!
I immediately prepared our lunch. I cooked Prawns Sinigang. Then had the Fruit Salad which Tita Rochelle gave coz she knows I really liked it that night! Oh! Before I forgot, she gave me a nice pink top. It was her birthday and yet she's the one who gave me the present hahaha! See how lucky your Mama was?
After lunch, I've loaded the dirty clothes for washing and cleaned the house at the same time. While I was cleaning I saw Dada checking the clothes for me. He finished it actually. But I had to wash some more, those were the dirty clothes we had used for the whole week, that's why!
At around 4:30 p.m. we were getting ready for a Friday Mass. I thought that was early. But unfortunately, when Dada was trying his jeans, sad to say nothing was fitting him any longer hahaha! But he was still lucky there was one, the only one that exactly fitted him! He was saying that we were competing for this pregnancy hehehe!
Mass starts at 5:30 p.m. and we reached the Church at 5:40 p.m. we were late but luckily, there was a vacant pew in front.
After the mass, we met Dada's cousin along the way out. So, we went to an Indian Restaurant and had something.
We went to Last Chance's Supermarket to buy few things, along the way to the taxi rank, I found one nice pants that fits me nicely. I bought that one. I felt hungry again after a long walk. So I asked Dada to take me to Swan Lake Filipino Restaurant and there I had Halo-halo Special. Dada was staring and smiling at me.
We finally reached home at 9:30 p.m. I tried the pants on while Dada was clicking the snap. Have a look at it!
