I had completely forgotten to make my enrty. We had a drs appt on yesterday. Everything seems to be going welll...I passed the Glucola test...I only gained 3 pounds in the last 2 weeks which is good considering the last time I went in, I had lost 5 pounds. The dr seems to think that my belly measures a little bigger than 29 weeks and so she is sending me for an ultrasound with my next drs appt on 2 14 08...Discussed my feet and ankle swelling with the dr. She does not seem to think it is anything to worry about right now and says we will just keep an eye on it...she said my blood pressure is good and we will just watch it..Bayleigh is moving around alot and it feels GREAT.. I finally got her bed and changing table put together. She is getting an antique rocking chair that my mother used for my now 20 year old brother so I have to go down to momma's house and pick it up this weekend..The invitations for my Baby Shower went out on Monday. The shower is Feb 23. Well, I guess that is enough for now...talk to ya'll soon!

Just Checking In Howdy!!! I am 27 weeks, will be 28 weeks on Thursday. My docotrs appts are now every two weeks...Had one on last friday. My blood pressure is doing much better. Now the dr is having a fit because I lost 7 pounds in 1 week..well, considering the fact that I had not eaten anything all day getting ready for the stinkin glucose test, I guess my baby was eating all of my calories. but anyway, the glucose test was not bad at all and the glucose stuff that u have to drink was not bad either..tasted like a flat orange soda..And I guess since I was already hungry enough to eat a house, the orange glucose stuff was absolutely delicious!!!! Anyway, I put Bayleigh's changing table together over the weekend..Still waiting on the bed to get here. Says it was already shipped but has not gotten here yet. The room looks so cute with her little changing table in it.. I am getting more and more excited about everything. She is getting big. Her kicks and punches have become much stronger and u can see them from the outside of my stomach now. I am excited to see her but still wanting her to stay in and "cook" a little longer..

27 weeks on Thursday and HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE It's funny how all of your knowledge goes out the window when it is your own body or your own child. I was put on Aldomet for my blood pressure when I was about 3 months pregnant. All of my drs appts after being placed on the Aldomet were great, my blood pressure was great. Well on friday, I went to the dr and my blood pressure had started to slowly creep up. I am a registered nurse and I know EXACTLY what is happening but what do I do??? I go online to see what's going on.....mild pre-eclampsia...as if I needed Google to tell me what I already knew...Let's pray that when I go back on friday, it is down a little or atleast the same...I think I would go crazy on bedrest but I guess I would do anything to be sure my little mamma was brought into the world healthy. Well, I did get scared of the thought of being put on bedrest and I bought her crib and changing table...guess all i needed was a little shove in the right direction.

OH THE SWELLING IS AWFUL!!!
My feet are huge..My ankles look like a fat old lady...i am only able to wear sneakers with the laces undone..How sexy is that when u work in corporate america????? I don't have any swelling in my fingers but only my feet and ankles..I have read every blog entry trying to find if swelling like this is normal..Articles on pregnancy swelling all say that mild swelling is normal...WHAT IS CONSIDERED NORMAL MILD SWELLING??? I was placed on Aldomet during the first trimester d/t my blood pressure but since being placed on the medicine, I have had no additional bp problems...I have a doctors appt tomrrow...we will see what she has to say about it!! Bayleigh is fine...flipping and flopping as usual...does anyone else have days where they really don't like their husbands/baby daddies????? today is one of those days for me..today everything he does seems to drive me mad!!! maybe it's the fact that i am so miserable with all of this swelling..who knows...maybe tomorrow will be better!
