Hey Stacey!
I just read your blog to find out what you were having. A Girl! Congratulations. What a blessing! I was trying to call you today to congratulate you but both phones kept giving a busy signal. I enjoyed reading your blog though. It has helped me get to know you a little better. I especially enjoyed the pros and cons on breastfeeding. Sounds like you've really put a lot of thought into it. I am seriously considering putting Brandon on formula for many of the same reasons that you have decided to bottle-feed. Since both Matthew and Steven have food allergies I would probably have to use the hypoallergenic formula for awhile and it is $25 a can. Breasfeeding is extremely hard though since I am having to avoid Milk, eggs, and wheat right now. And I really would like to diet. I still have 8 pounds to lose to get down to pre-pregnancy weight. I could probably lose more if I didn't pig out all the time. Breastfeeding makes me want to eat all the time! Well enough about me. Hopefully I can talk to you face to face soon. ABF will start back in a few weeks.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I was reading through journals and saw your post on the breatsfeeding issue. Honestly, I do not blame you. I breastfed my baby only once or twice in the hospital just to give her that first few good stuff she needs and that was it. She was on formula after that. And it really made a difference in that everyone could help to feed her and bond with her. And trust me, she didn't lose any bonding time with me by not breastfeeding. Like you, I always just worried she wouldn't get enough, and with bottles, I always knew exactly how much she drank. I have never regretted my choice either. And when we plan on having another, I will do it the exact same way again. Good for you in deciding what "you" want and not letting others deter you from that. Another side note on the cons, my baby started getting teeth around 5-6 months old. Once she got them, she liked to use them... Imagine that one
Good luck throughout the rest of your pregnancy!!
