Swollen Feet I decided to quit my serving job. Today was the last straw with Famous Daves. First of all they scheduled me on Sunday (which I'm probably the only person that works at the restaraunt that goes to church regularly, so that doesn't make any sense), but I tried to do what I was suppose to and show up and work anyway. I had already picked up a shift this week and worked on Valentines night because I thought I would make good money (Nick and I are going to do our Valentine date soon, we still haven't done it yet, we been so busy!). So anyway, that was a mistake because I ended up only making $45 (anyone that serves tables knows that's horrible). Then I worked on Saturday night. It was so busy, but the kitchen was so slow that we all made bad tips again. I ended up only leaving with $54. This wouldn't be so bad if working this long standing didn't make my feet swell up like balloons. I'm serious. I've never had this problem before, but now that I'm carrying some extra weight it just isn't meshing well with the standing up for 5 straight hours. So about today. Wow, it was so busy (which is usually a good thing), and I did make pretty good money $80, however it was so not worth it. I had to leave church early, go there, change in the bathroom in to my uniform from my church clothes, open and set up things in the kitchen (so I was on my feet from 10:20am until I left which was 4pm), couldn't eat lunch, and then I probably walked 10 miles in a circle going from the kitchen to my section. It was the most tiring thing I've done since I have been pregnant. And I am not out of shape at all. I usually walk about 3 miles a day and do pilates or do the eliptical and bike for about an hour. Well it was so bad that when I finally got done cleaning and went to cash out with the manager I turned in my two week notice. I can't take it anymore. And when I got home I just laid in bed for about 5 hours with my feet propped up. They still aren't back to normal. So I thought I would share my pregnancy working drama with everyone. I'm hoping that someone will pick up my shifts for the next two weeks, because I don't think I can go one more night or day serving tables at the place. I may just not show up. I know that's aweful, but I'm never going to work there again after the baby is born. So it wouldn't be that big of a loss I guess. Well hope everyone has a good day. And oh if you ever have a pregnant server... tip her well because she is in a great deal of stress.

Another Doctor Visit
Yesterday I had another doctor visit. I had to drink the wonderful orange drink to test my gluclose. Really it wasn't bad. I was so thirsty at the point, and asked for a straw. I drank it in like 1 minute flat. My sugar levels were perfectly normal, as well as my blood pressure, weight, and urine sample. I did have low iron, so they put me on an iron suplement, but that's not too hard to fix. So far everything seems to be going well. They didn't do my ultrasound to check the placement of the placenta. They are planning on doing one in two weeks. Fun stuff! Now I go to the doctor every two weeks, until the last month then I move to going every week. It's so exciting to be getting so close. I had been pretty stressed about gaining too much weight because I thought I had gained another 7lbs since my last appointment. So before I left for the doctor I weighed myself on my scale at home (it said 124) then at the doctor their scale said 121. I was so releived I had only gained 4 lbs, which is what is recomended (a pound a week). It's nice to know that my scale at home was just wrong.
As far as the house hunting goes.... it's so stressful. I get more stressed out about it each day that goes by. I just want it to be over with, or for us to just wait. I think we are setting a deadline for ourselves. If we haven't signed a contract by mid March, then we are just going to wait for another 6 or 7 months. That wouldn't be too bad, I'm just ready to know. I'm too much of a planner to not know what's going on. Especially with the baby coming so soon.
Well hope everyone is doing well! Hope to see you all soon!

The Third Trimester !
Well here I am already to my third trimester! I can't beleive it how the time has flown! It really is less than 3 months from now until my due date. It seems crazy to be this close to being a mommy. I still have a lot to do. I'm really not procrastinating, it's just that the circumstances haven't worked out just yet for me to get everything done. I think they will start to change soon though.
Nick and I are narrowing down the house search, and coming to a decision soon. (we hope). So then we can get the large task of moving out of the way and lifted off of our shoulders.
My shower dates are up in the air for right now. I thought we had decided on something, but then we changed some things. So I'll let everyone know as soon as I do.
The nursery furniture came in! So that's very exciting. I can't wait to set it up, but again I think we'll wait until we move to do the setting up of the nursery. I've got so many cute ideas for it.
And the name is still undecided. I have decided to share some of our thoughts on names now. We really have no idea what we want, but I think we have it down to 4 choices.
Alyssa
Ansley
Brookly
Kyla
So it should be one of those. We like names that are unique, and that have some spunk and personality to them. We may have to wait until we meet our little princess to decide, but I would like to choose sooner so we can put it up in the nursery.

Name Change ???
Just when I got comfortable calling her by name... Alyssa. Nick said out of the blue, "I'm not sure I really like the name Alyssa." So, we started to discuss names again, and I think we thought of a name we like as well if not better! But I don't think I'm going to share it, simply because it seems everytime I share it people change my mind, or people love it and Nick changes his mind. So I'm just going to keep it to my self. And her name may be Alyssa or it may be the mystery name that we really like. So for now we are back to calling her what we called her before she had a name "Little". I know that's silly, but it's just our thing. We say, "Hey Little, what are you doing in there?" It's kinda cute I think.
On another note, I'm househunting today like a mad woman. I have google mapped about 25 houses to go drive by and glance at. I'm starting at 3:30 when I get off and I'm not stopping until it's too dark to see or until I'm done. If we want to move before this baby comes then we need to get serious about this. So I'm taking the bull by the horns! (haha that so sounds like something my husband would say) Well everyone wish me luck!!!!
