Her cord fell off
I cant believe my baby is already 4 days old! and that her cord already fell off...I am already sad because it seems like she is growing up so fast LOL!!!...Oh she is just sooo precious..my mom is here with us and will not let her go! Its too cute...Keana loooooves her Umi, she is so calm and content in her arms! with mommy, she wants to cuddle and eat all day..with daddy she wants to play, with Umi she wants to chill and relax hahaha...i love my baby so much...
you know whats funny, she still likes to ball up on my tummy or chest like she did in my tummy...i used to always feel this huge lump on my left side, and i figured out it was her little butt tooted up in the air balled up...and you know what, she still loves that position on me...thats how she likes to sleep! i havent gotten use to putting her down yet, so needless to say she is very spoiled right now...when she is put down, she is like UHHH, OH NO SO NOT HAVING THIS....with her little attitude prone self...but its funny now....middle of the night, not so much! hahaha...but i am loving it...
Breastfeeding is going really well too....she loves to eat, especially after my milk came in (sunday)...she sleeps soooo soundly now...its great...with the colostrum only she would wake up every 20 min or so....no rest for the weary....man on saturday evening she nursed for over two hours straight!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank goodness my milk came in..but now it feels like i have 2 huge footballs on my chest...UGGHHh and since the milk is more feeling she doesnt nurse quite that long anymore....i wish she would so she can empty these suckers out...BUT i did finally order the breast pump yesterday so hopefully i can pump it out...on thing i do know though is that i did need that lanolin, my nipples are sooooo sore..i cant get her to latch properly each time because sometimes the area is sooo swollen from the milk....thats not fun, BUT soooo worth seeing my baby happy and full! did i say how much i love my baby! |
